Teaching Status And Improvement Strategy Of Chinese Ancient Novels "Masterpiece Reading-Guide" In Junior Middle School

Since the "Masterpiece Reading-guide" into junior middle school Chinese textbooks,the research on the teaching of "Masterpiece Reading-guide" has never stopped.In 2017,the unified edition(hereinafter referred to as the Ministry Edition)issued by the Ministry of education has carried out a radical reform of "Masterpiece Reading-guide",among which the purpose of the classics attracted very attention.Compared with the titles of Chinese ancient novels recommended in "Masterpiece Reading-guide" section of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks in 2002,the titles of Chinese ancient novels recommended by the section of "Masterpiece Reading-guide" in the junior middle school Chinese textbooks published by the Ministry of education have the largest increase.Compared with other kinds of works,ancient novels are more difficult to read.However,in the actual teaching process,due to various reasons,the teaching situation of Chinese ancient novels "Masterpiece Reading-guide" is not ideal.Through the reseaching and analysing the current situation of Chinese ancient novels in junior middle school,this paper found the problems in the process of teaching and learning,and put forward corresponding improvement strategies for the problems found,which hope to provide some help for the teaching of Chinese ancient novels.This paper was divided into five parts.The exordium focused on the research value,core concepts,research status,research purposes and research methods;The first part of the paper mainly expounded the characteristics and teaching value of the Ministry Edition of junior middle school ancient Chinese novels "Masterpiece Reading-guide".First,by comparing the PEP textbook version,this paper sorted out the changes of the recommendation books of ancient Chinese novels,and found the characteristics of the recommendation books of "Masterpiece Reading-guide".Secondly,this paper analyzed the teaching value of the ancient novels from two aspects: the value of the Chinese ancient novels themselves and the teaching value of the "Masterpiece Reading-guide".The second part of this paper mainly researched and analyzed the current situation of the teaching of the Ministry Edition of junior middle school Chinese ancient novels "Masterpiece Reading-guide".First of all,the survey data was drawn into a table,and the answers of the interviewed teachers were sorted out,and the problems existing in the teaching of "Masterpiece Reading-guide" and student reading were found from the drawn tables and the sorted interview answers.Then,it analyzes the reasons for the problems existing in the teaching and students' reading of Chinese ancient novels.The third part of this paper put forward some improvement strategies for the teaching of "Masterpiece Reading-guide" in junior middle school Chinese ancient novels which was based on the research and analysis of the second part.Firstly,this paper proposed that teachers should follow the general rules of "Masterpiece Reading-guide",for instance,using a variety of methods to stimulate and maintain students' interest in reading,cultivating good reading habits,and strengthening the guidance of textbooks reading methods.Secondly,this paper proposed that teachers should respect the uniqueness of Chinese ancient novels and guide reading.In the process of teaching,teachers should recognize and respect the uniqueness of Chinese ancient novels.On the one hand,teachers should guide students to learn the text knowledge,break the gap between students and the text,especially such works as A New Account of the Tales of the World.On the other hand,teachers should guide students to adopt more suitable methods to sort out the plot and evaluate the characters on Chinese ancient novels.Lastly,this paper put forward the improvement strategy of the teaching evaluation on Chinese ancient novels "Masterpiece Reading-guide".In the evaluation improvement strategy,this paper proposed that teachers should determine the comprehensive evaluation content and adopt a variety of evaluation methods.Due to the relationship between Chinese ancient novels "Masterpiece Reading-guide" and the general "Masterpiece Reading-guide" belongs to the relationship of individuality and generality,there are still some general strategies in the teaching improvement strategies proposed in this paper,such as stimulating reading interest and cultivating reading habits.The last part is the conclusion which are briefly summarized of this paper's the main contents.
