Chinese classical poetry has become a special reading matetial in Chinese reading lessons due to its harmonious rhythm and profound meaning,and it has been used as an extremely important teaching resource for students to learn traditional Chinese culture.With the development of the times and the continuous changes of teaching contents,aims and methods,it's of great necessity to address the problems that exist in teaching classical poetry.The method of symbiosis teaching of reading,put forward by Huang Houjiang,an outstanding Chinese teacher of special grade,is a new and effective teaching approach.Based on the characteristics of mother tongue and the ideal of “Natural Chinese”,it tries to apply symbiotic theory to coordinate a variety of correlations and contradictions that appear in teaching Chinese,which contributes to promoting students' literacy.This thesis is intended for the study of the method of symbiosis teaching of reading and applies literature research,case study and action research.It aims at studying the positive effects of the method of symbiosis teaching on classical poetry teaching through the research of teaching method and the investigation into the problems of teaching classical poetry.The concrete measures to employ symbiotic teaching method in teaching classical poetry are demonstrated through teaching practice.The thesis is divided into three parts.Chapter One studies the formation,theoretical basis and operational hints of the method of symbiotic teaching of reading,as well as its overall and procedural characteristics,thus having a knowledge of the essential characteristics of the method of symbiotic teaching of reading and the characteristics of symbiotic classroom teaching.Chapter two discusses the problems existing in the current teaching of classical poetry,and analyzes the causes of a series of problems ranging from the teaching methods,teaching contents,teaching objectives,teaching effects to the students' acceptance.It also studies the positive role that the method of symbiotic teaching of reading plays in teaching classical poetry,with the causes of problems in teaching classical poetry as the control.Chapter three focuses on teaching practice and studies the application of the method of symbiotic teaching of reading in teaching classical poetry.It summarizes the practical strategies for teaching classical poetry with the method of symbiotic teaching of reading as well as its limitations,thereby making suggestions on the development of the method of symbiotic teaching of reading in teaching classical poetry.It enlightens teachers to pay close attention to the characteristics of the classroom,students' development and multivariable harmony of teachers' pre-set while implementing the teaching method.Innovation:1.Aimed at solving the problems existing in teaching classical poetry,this thesis studies the overall and procedural characteristics,and classroom teaching practice of the method of symbiotic teaching of reading,which will contribute to improving the symbiosis teaching theory.2.Through the action research on classical poetry teaching,this thesis sums up and reflects on how the method of symbiotic teaching of reading contributes to classical poetry teaching,students' development and teachers' pre-set stages,from which Chinese teachers will benefit a lot.
