Chinese teaching materials are both the carrier of Chinese education and the bridge for effective communication between teachers and students.The quality of the texts selected in Chinese textbooks will directly affect the expected effect of Chinese education.Since 2017,the Ministry's edition of Chinese teaching materials has been officially adopted,officially marking the end of the era of "various books under one guideline".However,most of the selected texts in the textbook have been deleted and modified to different degrees before they come to teachers and students.Novels occupy a large proportion in the selected texts of junior high school Chinese textbooks.By collecting and analyzing statistics of the selected articles of novels in junior high school Chinese textbooks,it is found that about 90% of the selected novels have been deleted and modified in varying degrees before being compiled into the textbooks.The purpose of this paper is to study the phenomenon of the deletion and modification of the selected novel texts,and to provide reference for the actual teaching of the front-line teachers.This paper is divided into the following four parts.The first part sorts out the types deletion and modification of novels in junior high school Chinese textbooks.On the basis of making clear the concepts for novel selection and compilation,according to the version information marked on the caption of the textbook,the author makes a comprehensive statistical analysis on the deletion and modification of the selected novels,including the statistics of the caption information,the classification of the adaptation methods,the number of deletion and modification,and the number of the deletion and modification forms,which are intuitively displayed in a set of tables.Based on data statistics,this paper makes a concrete analysis of the deletion and modification of selected novels.The second part classifies and summarizes the specific objects of the selected novels in junior high school Chinese textbooks.This paper summarizes six specific objects involved in the addition,deletion and adaptation of the selected novel: title,punctuation,words,sentences,paragraphs and the excerpts of the whole article.The differences between the text and the original text are illustrated.The third part is the analysis of the reasons for the deletion and modification of novels in junior high school Chinese textbooks.This paper mainly analyzes the reasons for the deletion of selected novels from three aspects: the requirements of curriculum standards,the needs of standardized expression,and the needs of practical teaching.The result affirms the original intention and intention of the editor.The fourth part discusses the deletion and modification of the selected novels in junior high school Chinese textbooks.There are many influences caused by the deletion and modification of selected articles: we affirm the editors' painstaking and careful results of deletion and modification.However,it is undeniable that some of the deletion and modification effects are worth discussing and considering.At the same time,based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the deletion,the author puts forward some targeted suggestions for the front-line teachers to use the deletion content reasonably and skillfully,so as to obtain the optimal educational effect.
