In 2011,the edition of "Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standard" provided many new and instructive contents for the basic stage of art education.We need to pay attention to these contents.As art teachers,we should focus on the changes of art teaching methods.The edition of "Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standard" has made the concrete instruction and pointed out that art teaching should cultivate students' core literacy,encourage teachers to try different teaching methods.Meanwhile,the curriculum standard also put forward specific suggestions: "Teachers need to strengthen the study of students' learning methods and guide students to study independently.Besides teachers should adopt different teaching methods that suitable for students' physical and mental development level,use pictures,stories,games,music,visits and other ways to stimulate students' interest,promote students progress." The suggestion points out the art education in China is independent,diverse and open.As a flexible and open teaching method,activity teaching can satisfy the teaching needs of basic art courses and is suitable for art teaching in primary schools.Different from traditional teaching methods,activity teaching focus more on students' autonomy,encourages teachers to organize interesting,creative and educational activities,encourages students to feel and think,cultivates students' various abilities and improves their comprehensive quality.At present,the study on activity teaching in China mainly focuses on politics,Chinese and so on.There are few researches on art activity teaching and most of them focuses on case studies.The construction of art class activity teaching process is ignored.Therefore,there's still a large room for research in this field.Based on a systematic grasp of the theory of activity teaching,this study explores the implementation and application of different activity teaching in primary school art classroom in combination with the status quo and demand of art teaching in China.For the purpose of providing a new teaching reference for primary school art teaching.Three research methods were used in this paper,including literature research,case research and investigation research.The article consists of five parts,the first part is the introduction,including the research causes,significance,objectives,methods,status quo and so on.Part two is concept definition,including meaning,traits and types of activity teaching.The third part is the analysis of the current,value and feasibility.The fourth part is teaching exploration.According to the characteristics of different types of activities,text will construct teaching framework and explore the principles and tactics of activity teaching in primary school art classes.The last part is case design and analysis.According to the specific subject in the textbook,this part will design the teaching plan and analyze design intention.
