The ideological and political course in senior high school is the key course of the soul-building education project in our country.This requires high school ideological and political teachers must adapt to the new era of social development and the needs of students,the teaching of the times and applicability of continuous new exploration.Inquiry-based teaching method is of great significance to the realization of the basic goal of “ Cultivating moral character ” and the teaching goal of ideological and political lesson in senior high school.At present,the application of inquiry teaching method in ideological and political course in senior high school has achieved good results in classroom teaching,but there are still some problems.Therefore,the author combs the related concepts and theories of the inquiry teaching method from the theoretical angle,and emphatically carries on the practice investigation,understands the present high school stage thought political lesson to use the inquiry teaching method existence question and the behind reason,hope to be able to insight into the phenomenon of teaching optimization strategy.This study starts from the research of the theoretical basis,and then carries on the analysis of the current situation of practice,and finally puts forward the optimized strategies through the approaches of Theoretical Literature Reading,questionnaire investigation and case observation,this article consists of four parts in this logical order.First of all,the author in the new era of social development of innovative talent needs and the current high school ideological and political class inquiry teaching method is widely used in the context of the topic of this study.Secondly,in the literature collation reading,combing the relevant concept of inquiry-based teaching and theoretical basis,summed up the high school ideological and political lesson using inquiry-based teaching methods and important significance.Thirdly,the author focuses on the practice of high school ideological and political teachers to investigate,it is found that there are some problems in the application of inquiry teaching method in ideological and political teaching in senior high school,such as lack of connotation of moral education,poor experience of students,one-sided evaluation of teaching and the process of inquiry teaching.Through the analysis of the problem phenomenon,it is found that some of the ideological and political teachers in the high school in teaching philosophy,teaching attitude,teaching experience and teaching evaluation reasons.Finally,in the light of the problems and causes,the paper provides relevant optimization countermeasures from the two aspects of teacher growth and school security respectively,aiming at trying to solve the existing problems discovered,with the ultimate goal of making the ideological and political teachers in high schools develop,the application of inquiry-based teaching should be perfected to improve the teaching quality of ideological and political course and realize the teaching goal of students' all-round development.
