Printmaking is an important part of art teaching in junior middle schools,and woodcut printmaking is an indispensable part of printmaking teaching.Studying the design and implementation of woodcut printmaking curriculum and teaching not only meets the requirements of new curriculum reform in compulsory education,but also helps junior middle school students to have a deep experience and understanding of woodcut printmaking.However,the printmaking teaching in the regular classroom can't meet the requirements of teaching objectives,so it is urgent to improve and perfect.Based on this,the author designs the unit teaching of woodcut printmaking course,and constructs the unit teaching system of woodcut printmaking with X Middle School in Lianyungang as the carrier according to the teaching materials and teaching suggestions.This study adheres to the principle of "facing all students" and implements the unit course teaching of woodcut prints in the conventional classroom,which is an effective breakthrough of the existing classroom teaching mode of woodcut prints in junior middle schools,and deeply digs the artistic value of woodcut prints with strong visual impact of black and white contrast.The artistic philosophy of simplifying complexity and winning more with less;With the practical spirit of "let the knife go straight",students can fully appreciate the artistic interest brought by woodcut prints,meet the aesthetic requirements,and improve students' artistic accomplishment.At the beginning of the research,the author thinks rationally about the necessity of implementing woodcut printmaking unit teaching from three aspects:the definition of the core concept of woodcut printmaking unit teaching,the combing of junior high school art textbooks,and the investigation of the current situation of junior high school printmaking course.According to the problems existing in the present situation,the model of this unit course is preliminarily set up,and the unit teaching with the theme of "Knife for Writing"is used to carry out the research on the design and implementation of the unit teaching of woodcut prints,and the design scheme of middle school woodcut prints suitable for the situation in Lianyungang city is put forward.The aesthetic value and practical significance of woodcut prints themselves are tapped,and students are impregnated with the unique visual impact and artistic beauty produced by the unique beauty of black and white contrast,so that students can have an immersive experience,and unconsciously improve their quality.Then,based on the school,the author carried out teaching practice for the ninth grade students of X Middle School in Lianyungang.During the teaching process,the curriculum implementation was continuously improved through interviews and exchanges with students and teachers.This unit teaching of woodcut printmaking has brought substantial help to students' basic knowledge of printmaking,hands-on operation and practical ability of woodcut printmaking,and communication and cooperation ability among group members.Finally,the author reflects on the problems encountered in the research process and puts forward the methods of improvement and optimization.It is hoped that this research can play a role in the printmaking teaching in the regular art classroom of junior high school,and promote the development of woodcut printmaking course and teaching in middle school in the form of unit teaching.
