Model education is so indispensable in ideological and political education for junior high school students that not only does it play an exemplary,guiding and promoting role in learning and growth,but also it can help students cultivate correct political direction and moral character.As the main position for the implementation of moral education,the course for morality and the rule of law should be students-directed and creatively use model education to enrich the course,improve the effectiveness of education and teaching,and simultaneously broaden the connotation of model education.Model education is one of common teaching methods in the course.Excellent example figures and deeds are often used to have a good effects on cultivating a qualified new generation.Based on Marxist theory,Xi Jinping's model education theory in the new era and Bandura's observational learning theory,model education embodies the needs of implementing curriculum standards,junior high school students' growth and social development,which gives expression to the characteristics of behavior demonstration,vivid image,emotional stimulation and value guidance.Therefore,model education must adhere to the basic principles like people-oriented,practical,values-guided and time-oriented in the teaching of morality and rule of law in junior middle schools.Concerning this,specific strategies and implementation approaches can be available from the following aspects:Students-oriented,enhance educational identity,enhance awareness,and strengthen emotion;To practice for the purpose of updating the concept of education;Take the mainstream thought as the leading,optimize the model education environment,pay attention to the combination of implicit education and explicit education,guide the correct network fashion;Based on social reality,with the change of The Times as the direction,to enrich the content of model education.As the main field of moral education,teachers should be skilled in infiltrating model education reasonably and effectively into the classroom,especially in the context of fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic,so that the model education can be the icing on the cake for the course.
