In the digital age, people have accumulated a lot of digital information in their daily life and work. However, these digital information types are diverse and complex. How to effectively manage these personal digital information has aroused the attention of the library information and archives management circles. With the development of education informatization and the implementation of office automation, teachers are facing the problem of a large number of digital materials that need to be properly preserved. As a group with large information needs and a large number of digital archives, their personal digital archiving awareness and behavior are highly representative, which can reflect the overall archiving status quo to a certain extent. This paper starts with the primary school teacher group as the research object. It first combs the domestic and foreign research present situation and the concept, characteristics, and theoretical basis of personal digital archiving. Then through the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, this paper explores the influencing factors of primary school teachers' personal digital archiving behavior. In the part of qualitative analysis,it is suggested that task factors, individual factors, social factors and environmental factors will affect the personal digital archiving behavior of primary school teachers. Then this paper uses the interview method to verify the above four dimensions, and further puts forward that nine observation variables, such as teaching needs, assessment needs, cognitive state, personal emotions, social interaction, institutional service, technical environment and policy environment, will have a positive and significant impact on the personal digital archiving behavior of primary school teachers. In the quantitative research part, the author first designs the questionnaire according to the literature research and interview results, then carries on the pre-investigation analysis, and modifies the questionnaire according to the survey results. Then a formal questionnaire was distributed to primary school teachers with personal digital archiving behavior. Finally, this paper uses statistical method to analyze effective data to verify whether the research hypothesis holds. The study found that five observed variables of teaching needs, cognitive state, personal emotions, institutional service and technical environment have a significant impact on primary school teachers' personal digital archiving behavior. While assessment needs, personal habits, social interaction and policy environment factors have no significant influence on the personal digital archiving behavior of primary school teachers.Based on the above analysis results, this study puts forward optimization strategies and suggestions from three aspects:people, technology and institute.Although this study has contributed to the research of personal digital archiving, there is still room for improvement in the future. In the design of the scale, there are few mature scales to refer to,so the indicators are set according to the existing research and interview results.Inevitably, some indicators need to be more rigorous. In terms of survey samples, although the number of samples in this study has met five times the number of measurement scales,in order to make the research more universal, the scope of investigation needs to be further expanded. In terms of the research content, this paper focuses on the "influencing factors" rather than the specific archiving behavior. In order to make the research more sufficient,it is necessary to deepen the research on the personal digital archiving behavior of primary school teachers in the future.
