Since the 18 th National Congress of the General Secretary of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has carried out the overall development of socialism with Chinese characteristics,clearly pointed out the concept of "Four Self-confidence" and stressed the unswervingly adherence to the "Four Self-confidence".Ideological and political teaching in middle school is an important practical way to set up theoretical confidence,and the ideological and political classroom is an important publicity base for theoretical confidence in China.The theoretical confidence of teachers directly affects the teaching effect of ideological and political courses,and "how to enhance the theoretical confidence of ideological and political teachers in middle schools" has become an important topic.Therefore,this paper studies the cultivation and promotion of the ideological and political teachers.In the study,in order to understand the theoretical confidence of ideological and political teachers,Y County No.1 Middle School was selected as the research object,and we collected the basic situation of ideological and political teachers through the questionnaire survey.Data summary and analysis of the results,the teachers have some problems in theoretical confidence: first,There is a gap in the theoretical identity of middle school ideological and political teachers,second,Lack of discipline confidence of middle school ideological and political teachers;third,The professional input of middle school ideological and political teachers is not in place;fourth,The role confidence of middle school ideological and political teachers is shaken.The main reasons for the analysis are: first,the theoretical cognition level is shallow;second,the discipline theory construction is weak;third,lack of professional development;fourth,insufficient support of the school and society.In order to effectively improve the theoretical confidence of middle school ideological and political teachers and promote the development of ideological and political education in China,improvement should be made from the following points: first,improve the level of teacher theoretical recognition;second,promote the construction of discipline theory;third,Strengthening teachers' professional development;and fourth,enhance the support of the school and society.
