A Study On The Management Of Visual Health Education For Junior Middle School Students

China has the highest myopia rate among children and adolescents in the world.Due to the irreversibility of myopia,it has caused great harm to students' physical and mental health and will limit the selection of talents in certain fields in the future.Poor eyesight of adolescents is not only a health problem,but also an educational problem.Although the Ministry of Education and many other departments have issued relevant vision health education management documents,relevant data showed that the myopia rate of children and adolescents was increasing rather than decreasing.The myopia rate of junior middle school students was about twice that of primary school students,highlighting the deficiencies of vision health education management of junior middle school students.This article hopes to help people understand the actual implementation of the vision health education policy after its release,discover the problems existing in the current management process,analyze the causes,and finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of education managers,so as to effectively protect the vision of junior middle school students.Literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,inductive analysis and observation were used in this study.Teachers,students and parents from Grade 7 to Grade9 of 8 representative junior middle schools in T city were selected as the survey objects.Questionnaire survey was conducted among teachers and students,and interviews were conducted among teachers,students and parents,so as to get a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation of vision health education management.These existing problems were found: the hardware of school visual environment was not up to standard,the training of teachers and students' vision health knowledge was insufficient,the outdoor physical exercises didn't meet the requirements,the daily supervision and management of teachers were not in place;students' behavior of self-management was not standard;parents' attitude towards vision health education management was negative and their education behavior was not standardized;the gap between urban and rural education management was obvious.Based on the problems,the author analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward improvement strategies from the management levels of the government,schools,students,and parents.At the government level: explore the diversified development of education led by the government;establish and improve the relevant assessment system;improve the construction of relevant conditions for vision health education management.At the school level: formulate a scientific curriculum system;improve the management of daily vision health education;improve the construction of teachers;innovate the management of vision health education continuously.At the student level: improve students' awareness of self-management;strengthen mutual supervision and management among students.At the parent level: handle the parent-child relationship well;strengthen the home-school relationship.The whole society cooperates at multiple levels to jointly complete the management of vision health education and effectively protect the vision of junior middle school students.
