Punishment is a way for teachers to prevent students from making mistakes and committing them again.It is a legitimate means for teachers to help students grow up healthily.Because the society is worried that punishment will become a weapon for teachers to punish students,so they set restrictions everywhere,educational punishment has become an obstacle in teaching management.In order to get rid of this predicament,we should find a right way to let punishment play its due effect.This paper studies the current situation of educational punishment and the reasons for the difficulties in its implementation through the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview.Through the investigation,it is found that the concept of educational punishment is vague,the method of punishment is simple,the effect of punishment is low,the implementation of punishment is unfair,and the punishment rules are difficult to be implemented.There are several reasons for this,such as the lack of uniform punishment rules in schools,the small popularization scope of relevant laws on educational punishment,poor communication between home and school,incomplete punishment process,and social groups' prejudice against punishment.Through the discussion,the author finds out several ways to educational punishment of high school teachers:popularize the relevant legal knowledge of education punishment,improve the implementation process of educational punishment,diversify punishment methods,create a healthy atmosphere of public opinion.
