The new round of language reform "whole book reading" has attracted the attention of people at all levels of education,people gradually realize that the current language teaching in the chapter reading has not been able to meet the development needs of students,for this reason,proposed to use the whole book reading to change the current situation of students reading,broaden reading horizons,improve reading ability.This is why we have proposed the use of whole book reading to change students' reading situation,broaden their reading horizons and improve their reading skills.This is something we need to keep thinking about.Based on the educational thought in "Xue Ji",this paper proposes improvement strategies for the teaching method of reading throughout the book.By analyzing the teaching process of the whole book,the recommended extracurricular reading book "Red Star Shines on China" in the first volume of the eighth grade of junior high school,this paper discusses the feasibility of combining the teaching method of "Xue Ji" with the teaching of reading the whole book.The study came to the following conclusions:First,whole book reading is gradually gaining attention in the education sector,and the continuous development of whole book reading teaching is theoretically promoting the implementation of reading reform,further improving reading teaching methods.In practice,it provides new ideas for teachers to teach and better guide students to develop their new reading habits and improve their reading skills.Secondly,the Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011Edition)mentions that students should learn to read independently and read a wide range of books,especially two or three masterpieces per school year.In contrast to the "whole book reading and exploration" task group mentioned in the GCSE Language Curriculum Standards(2017 edition),whole book reading in compulsory education reflects more the initial stage of whole book reading for students,which is important to cultivate their interest in reading,develop reading habits,and lay the foundation for whole book reading in senior secondary education.It is important to develop their interest in reading,to develop reading habits and to lay the foundation for whole book reading in senior secondary school.The four books recommended in the textbook for Grade 8 have a positive effect on the development of students' reading skills,with different thematic content and different genres.Third,the educational ideas in "Xue Ji" still have important significance and value to our current education.Combining specific teaching ideas with the current situation of contemporary Chinese education,it is proposed to change teachers' teaching attitudes,change the relationship between teachers and students,and change reading teaching.Methods of teaching strategies for whole book reading.Fourthly,the whole book is used to discuss the improvement strategies of whole book reading teaching.The whole book "The Red Star Shines in China" has three textual values: educational value,cultural value,and social value.The whole book has educational,cultural and social values.It can also be used to improve students' reading skills,promote the spirit of the Red Revolution and enhance students' core language literacy.Fifth,apply the teaching methods in "Xue Ji" to the practice of reading teaching in the whole book.It makes a detailed analysis of the character appreciation lesson in the reading teaching of the whole book "Red Star Shines in China" observed during the internship,and proposes improvement strategies based on the deficiencies in the teaching.At the same time,he designed a character appreciation class of "Red Star Shines in China" to verify the feasibility of combining the teaching method of "Xue Ji" with the whole book reading teaching,and to promote the improvement of the whole book reading teaching strategy.The innovation of this paper is that,based on the overall review of the whole book reading research in junior high school,it makes a specific analysis of the teaching case of the famous book "The Red Star Over China",and applies the innovative teaching methods recorded in "Xue Ji" to We are currently teaching the reading of the entire book,and on this basis,we have made corresponding teaching modifications to specific cases.It is hoped that the teaching method of "Xue Ji" can arouse some teaching inspirations for our Chinese teachers in front-line teaching,and further promote the teaching thinking of reading teaching of the whole book.
