The Chinese Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education(2011 Edition),in its recommendations on extracurricular reading materials,points out that "teachers can choose suitable reading materials from all kinds of excellent literary works at home and abroad according to their needs and supplement their recommendations to students.Popular science fiction,such as Jules Verne's series of science fiction." Here is a clear proposal to read science fiction,especially Jules Verne.In recent years,there has been a boom in the study of "whole-book reading",and the teaching of whole-book reading of science fiction is also starting slowly.Therefore,the whole book reading teaching of science fiction works is of great significance under the guidance of the curriculum standard of righteousness education.The teaching of reading the whole book of science fiction is helpful for students to expand their knowledge,increase the amount of reading,improve their Chinese literacy,stimulate their creative thinking,and help their all-round development.The research object of this paper is the book entitled 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,which is carried out in-depth investigation and analysis in the form of questionnaire,to form an investigation report,to understand the actual situation of reading teaching in the whole book of20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,to find out its shortcomings,and to formulate an effective teaching plan to improve the present situation of reading teaching in the whole book of science fiction.The thesis is divided into five parts,the introduction part discusses the topic origin,significance,research status,research ideas and methods.The first chapter focuses on the teaching theory of science fiction in junior high school;the second chapter investigates the teaching situation of science fiction in junior high school,analyzes the existing problems based on the investigation,and finds that the students do not deeply explore the text,the science fiction reading is simple,the reading effect is not good,the teacher's teaching instruction method is not comprehensive,the evaluation method is single,the teaching present situation is not ideal;the third chapter takes 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea as an example to study the teaching design of the whole book of Chinese science fiction in junior high school,mainly discusses the teaching principles,teaching objectives,teaching planning and teaching evaluation;The fourth chapter is based on the study of the teaching design of the whole book,carries on the research to its teaching implementation,carries out the systematic and complete whole book reading teaching class,including reading the leading reading class,the reading promotion class,the post-reading sharing class and the after-class.Through the above thinking on the reading teaching of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,this paper explores the effective ways of science fiction in junior high school reading teaching,and provides the first-line teachers with strong operational teaching guidance.
