Books are the accumulation of human wisdom.To read a good book is to talk to many noble people.Since 1941,Ye Shengtao proposed to use the entire book as a Chinese textbook in his On the Revision of Chinese Language Curriculum in Middle Schools.Reading the whole book is considered to be an important way to cultivate students' good reading habits,expand their knowledge,and exercise their reading ability.At the same time,in the process of reading different styles,teachers can guide different reading methods such as intensive reading and skimming for different styles,which will help students master the reading methods.The reading of the whole book is more focused and comprehensible than the reading of some other books and magazines.In the process of systematic and logical reading of the whole book,the quality of reading thinking of students is easier to develop.However,we have found that there are many problems in the actual teaching of students' reading of the entire book,such as poor reading willingness,poor reading habits,insufficient reading methods,and relatively superficial grasp of the text.It can be seen that even though the meaning of reading the entire book is extraordinary,helping students implement reading behaviors and improving reading skills is the first step to realize the value of the entire book.Doctor of Children's Literature Wang Lin put forward the concept of "class reading club" around the problem of primary and secondary school students "reading the whole book",and found a good paradigm for reading education in primary and secondary schools.It is easier to ignite students' reading enthusiasm when everyone gathers together in the class;the sharing and communication after reading also provides a field for students to express their own reading feelings,and at the same time can absorb the reading comprehension of others,which enriches reading cognition,Deepening reading comprehension has a promoting effect.In order to change the current reading status of students,this study tried to apply the class reading club to the entire book reading teaching.Taking Chengdu G Middle School as the research field,the case class was selected through investigation,and then the investigation and interview were used to understand the entire book of the case class.Reading the current situation of the book,and then use the class reading club in the case class to carry out the whole book reading activity.In the case study,first,prepare for the four aspects of clarifying reading goals,formulating activity plans,preparing reading groups,and preparing to read books together.The second is the specific implementation process.During the six-month research period,I guided the reading of the three entire books "Come in the Morning at Night","Camel Xiangzi",and "Twenty Thousand Miles under the Sea".Each book was designed and carried out four times.Class book clubs on different topics.After the reading activity of the three books is over,learn about the effect of the class reading meeting from multiple angles.In summary,we found that in the process of reading together and communicating and discussing,the students in the case class have increased their willingness to read,their reading habits have changed,their mastery of reading methods have improved,and their ability to read texts has improved.Next is the theoretical analysis of the implementation effect using the learning community theory to explore the role of class reading in promoting the entire book reading teaching.Through analysis,we found that the application of the class reading meeting to the entire book reading teaching mainly shows four advantages.First,from reading alone to reading together with everyone,it enhances the students' reading willingness;second,instructing students to aggregate scattered reading behaviors into a whole reading behavior,which is conducive to scientifically planning reading behaviors and helping students cultivate Good reading habits;third,the reading of individual students in the class is gathered into the reading of the whole class,which is conducive to creating a good reading atmosphere in the class,and at the same time helping teachers to conduct concentrated method guidance.Fourth,the exchange and discussion after reading will help students deepen their shallow reading experience into a deeper reading perception.During the development of the class reading club,we have accumulated a certain amount of experience and summed up the application enlightenment of the class reading club in the entire book reading teaching.Firstly,teachers should strengthen theoretical study,fully grasp the reading requirements and guidance methods;secondly,a thorough and detailed implementation plan will help the stable development of the class reading club;thirdly,teachers should read the text from multiple angles to refine what is in line with the students' cognition.Discuss topics;at the same time,create a good communication atmosphere to protect students' desire to communicate;finally,use the exchange discussion list to improve the quality of communication and discussion.While summing up the application enlightenment,we also reflect on the development of the class book club.Introspection found that there are also shortcomings in the application of class reading clubs.Aiming at these shortcomings,we put forward the direction of our efforts: to ensure reading time and ensure that students can fully read;enrich the class type of reading clubs and mobilize students' enthusiasm for participation;work hard from many aspects,Stimulate students' enthusiasm for communication.These application enlightenments and suggestions are expected to provide experience accumulation for further exploration in the future,and provide reference for frontline teachers to carry out the entire book reading teaching.
