General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out,"To cultivate and promote core socialist values,we must base ourselves on China's fine traditional culture,which has enriched and nourished the Chinese nation's endless growth." In recent years,under the influence of the expansion and dissemination of diversified art forms,traditional culture has been affected to a certain degree.The current standard of high school music curriculum pointed out that "China's regional ethnic folk songs,instrumental music,song and dance music,opera,folk art and traditional art forms such as folk dance together represent the essence of Chinese culture,which is the root of national music culture as well as the important content of the music curriculum in the high school music teaching that should be strengthened".As early as the Tang Dynasty,Sichuan Opera was known as "Shu Opera topping the world".It is one of the opera arts in southwest China and one of the first batch of intangible cultural heritage in China.It has distinct regional characteristics,rich experiences of life and strong implications for educating people.Teaching Sichuan opera in high school music and drama performance is an important way to inherit the excellent traditional culture of Bashu.In the introduction,this paper first stated the relevant documents issued by the CPC Central Committee,The State Council and various ministries and commissions to increase the content of traditional cultural education.Based on this,it elaborated on how to implement relevant policy requirements in basic education with Sichuan Opera as an example.Then,the paper summarized the research findings of Sichuan Opera in China,including the value,content and methods of the research.In the first chapter,the significance of Sichuan Opera teaching in senior high school was discussed,and the bidirectional significance of Sichuan opera teaching and Sichuan Opera teaching in senior high school was emphasized on and illustrated.In the second chapter,chongqing Chaoyang Middle School was taken as an example to investigate and analyze the situation of high school students learning Sichuan opera,and the author summarized the problems existing in the teaching of Sichuan opera and their causes.In the third chapter,this paper discussed the Sichuan Opera drama class in Chongqing Chaoyang School practice,the results showed that introducing Sichuan Opera school classroom to strive to achieve diversity in teaching methods necessitates the implementation of experiential teaching method,practical teaching method and the exploratory teaching method,the combination of the teaching evaluation as well as the comprehensive teaching evaluation.It is mainly reflected in the combination of formative evaluation and summative evaluation.In the fourth chapter,it discussed the implementation suggestions for the future development of Sichuan opera teaching in senior high schools,and put forward feasible suggestions from four aspects: teachers,class schedule,teaching theory exploration and campus culture construction.
