Reading is an integral part of C hinese teaching which has a lot to do with the quality of C hinese teaching and also has led to widespread concern.Higher requirements are put forward for reading teaching on account of the advent of the information age and the promotion of the new curriculum reform.Seen the Chinese prose teaching in macroscopic angle,we can easily find issues of “less,slower,worse,costlier”.Meanwhile,“group reading”,a new teaching form comes into being as a supplement to traditional single reading,gradually becoming a new trend of reading teaching.“Group reading teaching” forms a learning space through multiple texts,so that students can broaden their reading vision,improve their thinking ability and stimulate their reading interest in the process of effective participation.What's more,“group reading teaching” also improves teachers' professional thinking and ability,expanding teachers' teaching thinking which surges their teaching innovation in the process.However,based on the current “group reading” theoretical research and teaching experiences,the author finds that “group reading teaching” is mostly concentrated in the teaching realms of novel,ancient poetry and classical Chinese while the group reading teaching of modern prose is still in a relatively marginal position.As a classic text,modern prose has enchanting language and profound meaning.And carrying out the teaching of prose group reading is helpful for junior high school students to improve their abilities of reading and writing,cultivate their aesthetic consciousness and enrich their emotional experience.Therefore,this paper takes the junior high school modern prose as the research object,aiming to explore how to apply the “group reading teaching” mode to the junior high school modern prose teaching.Specifically,the paper is divided into three parts.First of all,the paper states the origin,purpose and significance of the research,summarizes the relevant literature,and briefly introduces the research ideas and methods.Secondly,by means of questionnaire,this paper investigates the teaching situation of prose group reading in grade seven or eight students from High School Affiliated to Southwest University(hereinafter referred to as HSASU).It also summarizes the existing problems,conducts attribution analysis and grasps the current situation of prose group reading teaching in junior high school from the two aspects of teachers and students.Finally,for the existing problems of the prose group reding teaching in HSASU,this paper explores the improvement countermeasures and puts forward the operational implementation strategies from the aspects on the development of both teachers and students.Besides,based on the C hinese textbook compiled by Education Ministry,this paper designs and analyzes the teaching cases of group reading in lyric prose,narrative prose and argumentative prose separately,providing a new way for teachers in prose reading teaching,so as to modify the deviation in the teaching practice of prose group reading in junior high school.
