Chinese is a course aimed at language learning.Its educational goal is to cultivate students' ability to skillfully use Chinese language.Therefore,Chinese teaching should be based on language.As a common literary genre,novels play a very important role in Chinese Textbooks in primary and secondary schools.Reading and learning novel texts is an important way to cultivate students' core literacy of "language construction and application".However,for a long time,novel teaching has been trapped in the teaching dilemma of "three elements + theme",which makes the interpretation of novel text lack of new ideas and can not help students achieve personalized understanding and reading.Therefore,we need to introduce new theories,especially linguistic theories,to expand new development space for novel interpretation and teaching.Pragmatics,a discipline that studies language and its application law,emphasizes the understanding of the dialogue content between the listener and the speaker through the specific context,involves many subjective and objective factors affecting discourse communication,and breaks through the limitation of one-way interpretation of meaning from the perspective of structural linguistics in the past,This feature has injected fresh blood into our Chinese teaching,especially the teaching of novel reading.Using pragmatic theory to guide novel teaching provides us with a new perspective to look back on classic novels,interpret the new meaning of the text,help students clarify the ideas of novel reading,truly arouse students' interest in learning in the good classroom interactive atmosphere under multi-dimensional dialogue,apply the interpretation methods to practical use,and construct the thinking of novel reading and understanding.Based on the requirements for students' Chinese core literacy in the new Chinese curriculum standard,this paper has formed its own research methods and research ideas on the guidance of pragmatic theory on Chinese novel reading teaching by digesting and absorbing the important academic achievements of predecessors in pragmatics and Chinese reading teaching,as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the reason and significance of this topic,combs and summarizes the relevant literature results and development status in three parts,and summarizes the main research methods used in this paper.The second chapter is an overview of the basis for pragmatics to guide high school novel teaching.This paper expounds the development history of pragmatics theory and its main research themes,briefly explains the text characteristics of novels such as literariness,humanism and aesthetics combined with the text fragments of novels,expounds the basis of pragmatics theory guiding novel teaching at the level of curriculum standards and teaching materials,and shows the feasibility and value significance of pragmatics theory guiding novel teaching.The third chapter is the analysis of the current situation of novel reading teaching in senior high school.Through the statistics and analysis of the feedback information of the questionnaire,this paper combs out the main problems existing in the current novel reading teaching in senior high school,and probes into the causes of the existing problems on the basis of connecting with the actual teaching situation.The fourth chapter is the application strategy of pragmatic theory in senior high school novel reading teaching.This paper puts forward corresponding strategies from the three aspects of text context,speech form and pragmatic subject,in order to change some problems existing in the current novel teaching,so as to truly improve the quality of novel teaching and realize the goal and value of novel teaching.The fifth chapter is the problems that should be paid attention to in the teaching of novel reading in Senior High School under the guidance of pragmatic theory.Although pragmatics has certain value and significance in guiding novel teaching,we should make appropriate rational thinking and summary on the application of this theory on the basis of returning to reality teaching,so as to give full play to the important role of pragmatics theory.
