With the development of science and technology,science is becoming more and more closely related to us,and it is very necessary to cultivate people's scientific concepts.By studying popular science texts,students can form correct scientific thinking and experience the scientific spirit of scientists.However,the current high school science text teaching is unsatisfactory.In the 2017 edition of the General High School Language Curriculum,the concept of "practical reading and communication" task group was introduced for the first time,and the concept of "practical reading and communication" task group was introduced.The combination of the "practical reading and communication" task group and the teaching of popular science texts in high school can make the teaching of popular science texts more flexible and the classroom of popular science texts more active,so as to achieve the purpose of improving students' core language literacy.In this study,we use literature analysis and questionnaires to explore the strategies of using "practical reading and communication" task groups in the teaching of high school popular science texts.This thesis consists of three parts.The first is the introductory part.This part introduces the reason for choosing this thesis,the review of related literature,the definition of related concepts,the research method and research path,and the purpose and significance of the research.The second part is the content of the body part.The first part is to discuss the types and characteristics of the selected texts in high school language,analyze the theoretical basis of high school popular science texts under the task group of "practical reading and communication" and the significance of teaching high school popular science texts under the task group of "practical reading and communication".Then,based on the three main points of the "Practical Reading and Communication" task group,namely,learning tasks,learning situations and practical activities,we discussed the "Practical Reading and Communication" task group in detail.Finally,based on the existing strategies,a case study design is developed,which introduces the basis of text selection,the steps of case study implementation,and the evaluation and reflection of the case study.The last part is the conclusion.Based on the whole text,this part summarizes the teaching of high school popular science texts under the task group of "practical reading and communication" and the shortcomings of this thesis.This thesis attempts to explore the teaching of high school popular science literature under the task group of "practical reading and communication",hoping to explore a set of actionable strategies for teaching high school popular science literature,and then to enhance students' interest in popular science literature and improve their core language literacy.
