China’s Ministry of Education issued new math curriculum standards for ordinary high schools in 2018.The revision and improvement of curriculum standards put forward new requirements for mathematics education and teaching,and the revision of new textbooks was launched under the concept of new curriculum standards,and the new textbooks were put into use in the autumn of 2019.Therefore,it is of great significance to compare the old and new textbooks compiled based on the two versions of curriculum standards.Plane analytic geometry is not only the key but also the difficult point of high school mathematics.Its basic content and its mathematical thinking and methods,such as combination of number and form,equation and classification,play a vital role in cultivating students’ mathematical quality.Therefore,this study compares the content of plane analytic geometry between new and old textbooks,hoping to help teachers grasp the content of new textbooks more effectively,so as to achieve the purpose and original intention of guiding teaching better.This study takes ordinary High School Experimental Textbook Mathematics(HUMANITIES Teaching A Edition)published in 2007 and 2019 as the research object,adopts literature analysis method,comparative research method,content analysis method and quantitative analysis method,etc.From curriculum standard,plane analytic geometry content(including the content selection of compiling style and specific knowledge,and setting up core concepts),and the difficulty,including knowledge of breadth,depth and knowledge groups exercises comprehensive difficulty,difficulty of the teaching material)for comparing old and new teaching material content of plane analytic geometry,the following conclusions: First,through the comparison between the 2017 course Standard and the 2003 course Standard,it is found that the course ideas and objectives in the 2017 course Standard have been developed and innovated on the basis of the 2003 course Standard,which are more practical and operable in real life,and part of the content of plane analytic geometry has been optimized.Secondly,the following conclusions are drawn by comparing the contents of plane analytic geometry in the new and old textbooks:(1)The new textbook adjusts the content of plane analytic geometry on the basis of the old textbook,so that the knowledge of plane analytic geometry in the new textbook is more systematic;(2)the new textbook inherits and carries forward the characteristics of the arrangement structure of the old textbook,and strengthens the guided learning;(3)the new textbook pays more attention to the deep integration of information technology and teaching.(4)The depth of knowledge group comparability and the comprehensive difficulty of knowledge group exercises in the content of plane analytic geometry in the new textbook are increased,so the difficulty of the content of plane analytic geometry is higher than that of the old textbook.In view of the above research conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward for the teaching of plane analytic geometry:(1)combined with the request of"2017 version of the curriculum,grasp the key points and difficulties quasi plane analytic geometry content.(2)pay attention to the depth of the integration of information technology and analytic geometry,improve teaching efficiency.(3)appropriate rich creation of plane analytic geometry situation,strengthen the relationship with the real life.(4)pay attention to the penetration of plane analytic geometry teaching in the way of thinking,Promote the development of students’ literacy.
