Building a national first-class undergraduate major is the top priority of the "double 10000 plan",which plays an important role in improving the quality of undergraduate talent training.In 2019,the Ministry of Education implemented the "double million plan" for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors,proposing a breakdown of the number of places for the construction of first-class majors,with a tilt to local universities.Local colleges and universities account for most of the total number of colleges and universities in China,and they are the main position of higher education in China.For local universities,the construction of national first-class majors is conducive to promoting regional economic development and improving the strength and competitiveness of institutions.Therefore,it is of important significance to study the construction of national first-class undergraduate majors in local universities.Taking S university as an example,this paper constructs the standard of first-class specialty construction by combing the relevant policies of first-class specialty construction,analyzing the relevant literature of first-class specialty construction,and interviewing the teaching managers of S university.The following conclusions were drawn from the questionnaires prepared by the criteria for the construction of first-class majors and distributed to the students of the national first-class undergraduate majors construction site of S University:During the construction of national first-class majors in S university,the training objectives do not meet the requirements of the supply side reform of higher education;The curriculum system is not perfect;The connection between discipline construction and first-class specialty construction is not close;Insufficient construction funds;Secondary colleges have less autonomy in running schools.The following solutions are proposed to design the expected learning output of the major with OBE concept as the core;Improve the construction of national first-class professional curriculum system;Further promote the construction of discipline and specialty integration;Implement the special fund investment of national first-class professional education and improve the efficiency of fund use;Expand the autonomy of secondary colleges.
