As one of the important parts of Chinese teaching,the teaching of popular science should not only reflect the comprehensive application of Chinese knowledge and scientific knowledge,but also realize the close combination of Chinese curriculum and life practice.To promote the improvement of students' Chinese literacy,scientific literacy and practical innovation ability.Therefore,how to carry out the teaching of Chinese popular science articles in junior middle school to cultivate students' Chinese literacy,scientific literacy and innovative practice ability is an urgent problem to be solved in the teaching of Chinese popular science articles in junior middle school.STEAM education,as a global education strategy in the current and future innovation and development,is driven by "scientific innovation" and aims to cultivate students' "scientific literacy" and "practical innovation ability" in popular science teaching.Popular science teaching can be said to be a kind of teaching with Chinese knowledge as the core and scientific content as the guide to integrate other subjects and life content,which just fits the interdisciplinary nature of STEAM education.Therefore,to reshape the teaching of popular science articles in junior high school Chinese based on STEAM education concept,construct relevant teaching ideas and carry out specific teaching strategies can promote the implementation of STEAM education concept in the Chinese field.It provides reference for the comprehensive cultivation of students' Chinese literacy and scientific literacy and the continuous development of subject integration.Its emphasis on "subject integration" and "practice innovation" is in line with the orientation and characteristics of popular science teaching,which can promote the integration of knowledge and action of students,improve the way of learning of students,promote the practice innovation of school education and teaching,and provide new ideas for the learning and teaching of popular science.The structure of the paper is as follows:Introduction: Firstly,the background of the topic is described.Secondly,the research status of STEAM education concept at home and abroad and the current situation of Chinese popular science teaching are sorted out.After that,the purpose and significance of the research are analyzed.The first part: mainly for STEAM ideas of education in junior high school in whether has the applicability in science teacher education research,through to the STEAM education concept and definition of the concept of the popular science article,and both fit analysis and related theoretical basis,found that based on STEAM ideas of education in junior high school in the applicability of the highly popular science education.The second part: mainly STEAM ideas of education in junior high school in science teaching is the feasibility study,the main selection of junior middle school language teaching material compile for universal use version,layout of the selected works of popular science article carding analysis,at the same time for the survey of junior middle school language teaching status quo of the popular science article,as well as the characteristics of middle school students' cognitive development,It is found that it is feasible to teach popular science articles in junior middle school Chinese based on STEAM education concept.The third part: this part mainly puts forward some practical and feasible teaching strategies based on STEAM education concept and the characteristics of popular science teaching in junior high school Chinese,combined with the problems found in the previous chapter.It mainly puts forward specific operational strategies from the three dimensions of teaching design,teaching implementation and teaching evaluation.Hope to provide some feasible suggestions for the development of Chinese popular science teaching in junior middle school.
