At the 20 th Conference of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,Xi Jinping stressed that "more importance should be attached to the cultivation of independent talent,scientific spirit,innovation ability and critical thinking." Middle school students are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation the nine grade students are in a critical period of world outlook,the outlook on life and values formation,also at the important period of cultivating the scientific spirit.Ideological and political lesson is the key course to carry out the fundamental task of moral education and cultivate students' scientific spirit.Scientific spirit is one of the basic qualities of Chinese students' core literacy.Strengthening the cultivation of students' scientific spirit is not only the need of scientific and technological development and the cultivation of new people of the times,but also helps students cultivate the fine qualities of rational thinking,courage to explore and diligent inquiry,and cultivate young students in the new era with all-round development morally,intellectually,physically,aesthetically and industriously.For this reason,the research on the cultivation of students' scientific spirit in the course of morality and Rule of Law in Grade 9 can be analyzed from the following four aspects.First,starting with the analysis of the development process and internal meaning of scientific spirit,to explore its rich value and significance.Second,through the way of students' questionnaires and teacher interviews,according to the survey results to analyze the current situation,existing problems and reasons of the cultivation of scientific spirit.Thirdly,it puts forward the optimization path from five aspects: teaching concept,teacher development,teaching content,teaching method and teaching mode according to the survey problems and reasons.Fourth,complete the teaching design on the basis of the previous theoretical basis and optimization path,implement the cultivation of students' scientific spirit in the ninth-grade ideological and political teaching,and summarize the highlights and shortcomings of teaching.We should actively promote the organic integration of the cultivation of scientific spirit and the course of "morality and Rule of Law",and strive to achieve the dual purpose of cultivating the scientific spirit of ninth-grade students and effectively improving the teaching effectiveness of "morality and Rule of Law".
