With the rapid development of the times,the cultural information with different quality affects the cognition of teenagers,threatens the classic living space and promotes the alienation of social and cultural environment.Many students' spiritual emptiness and distorted values warn that educators should pay more attention to and guide students' spiritual pursuit.Therefore,the guide to moral education in primary and secondary schools takes "identifying with Chinese culture and carrying forward the national spirit" as the goal of moral education in junior middle school,and the Chinese curriculum standard of compulsory education also puts forward that the Chinese national spirit should be carried forward in the Chinese curriculum.The module of "famous books guide reading" is an important part of junior middle school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education.The module of "famous books guide reading" teaching is conducive to stimulate students' interest in reading,improve their reading ability,understand the ideological connotation and spiritual culture of classics,and implement the concept of "building morality and cultivating people" in Chinese education.As the text carrier of spiritual culture,famous works carry rich spiritual connotation and play an important role in national spirit education.However,for a long time,many teachers do not have a deep understanding of the teaching value of the "classic guide" section,and their teaching concepts are conservative,ignoring the value of the classic to the cultivation of students' national spirit.The paper is mainly composed of introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction focuses on the reason for the topic,research significance,research status,concept definition and research methods.The first part of the text briefly introduces the connotation of classics and examines the educational value of classical masterpieces on the basis of eternalist educational philosophy,and analyzes the spiritual value of the works in the "famous books guide reading" section of junior middle school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education,explains the national spiritual elements and specific connotation of the works in the "famous books guide reading" section from the perspectives of Chinese famous works and foreign famous works,discusses the national spiritual value of these classical masterpieces from three aspects:cultural self-confidence,cultural vision and cultural style.The second part investigates the cultivation of national spirit in the current teaching of "famous books guide reading" in junior middle school,presents the current situation,and analyzes the causes of the problems.The third part puts forward the teaching strategy of "famous books guide reading" in junior middle school,which points to the cultivation of national spirit,and provides support for the teaching practice.In the fourth part,the author takes "Journey to the West" as an example to implement the reading guidance practice of Chinese classics,and takes "Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea" as an example to implement the teaching practice of foreign classics.Finally,the author makes further reflection based on the practice.The conclusion summarizes the main content of this paper,clarifies the possible deficiencies and shortcomings in the process of writing this paper,defines the research purpose and intention,and tries to make efforts for the cultivation of national spirit and the achievement and rich experience in the teaching of "famous books guide reading".
