Ancient biography is an important style of Chinese ancient literature,which carries the function of recording Chinese history and inheriting Chinese culture.For a long time,ancient biographies have been selected into the textbooks of junior and senior high schools,and the teaching of ancient biographies plays an important role in Chinese teaching in middle schools.Since 2019,senior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the ministry have been used in various parts of the country.The new curriculum standards issued in 2017 and the new textbooks compiled by the Ministry uphold the principle of "people-oriented",which aims to enhance the practicality of The Chinese language and better reflect the "instrumental" and "humanistic" characteristics of the Chinese language through learning task group design and overall arrangement.At present,there are not many researches on the teaching of ancient biographies in some senior high schools.The author hopes to put forward some helpful suggestions on this topic.The thesis consists of an introduction and four chapters.The introduction explains the research origin,related concepts of biography,research status,research significance and purpose,research methods and so on.The first chapter expounds the historical,literary and humanistic characteristics of ancient biographies,and expurgates the stylistic characteristics of ancient biographies.The second chapter makes a comparative analysis of the ancient biographies selected by the human education edition and the partial edition of senior high school Chinese,so as to extract the similarities of the two editions of textbooks and the characteristics of the partial edition of textbooks.Through the comparative study of the two editions of textbooks,we can grasp the text content and the editor's intention,which is conducive to more targeted teaching strategies.Chapter three tries to put forward specific teaching strategies for high school biography teaching according to the course standard,textbook characteristics and text,combined with relevant teaching cases: creating a variety of learning activities;Analyze the text with the main personality and spiritual connotation as the core;Strengthen students' independent learning ability.The fourth chapter designs the specific teaching process,taking the biography of Qu Yuan as an example.
