PBL Teaching Method To Improve The Quality Of Tennis Teaching For College Students

Nowadays the development of tennis sports is gradually extensive in China.A lot of colleges and universities have established tennis optional courses.However,because of the restrictions of technology,court,time and other elements,the effect of tennis curriculum is not optimistic.In order to effectively ameliorate the effect of schoolroom teaching,this thesis will use reasonable teaching devices to promote and enhance the quality of tennis learning from the perspective of improving students' self-directed learning and taking problem orientation as the point of penetration.Using the approaches of questionnaire survey,experiment,expert interview,documentation and mathematical statistics,this thesis selects the students of two classes in the 2020 tennis public physical education curriculum of Huaibei Normal University as the experimental subject.This study takes PBL teaching method to enhance college students' tennis teaching quality as the object of study,and takes theory of constructivism and humanistic learning as the basic basis.First of all,it analyzes the application of PBL pedagogy,and then demonstrates through teaching experiments.Finally,the results and suggestions of PBL pedagogy applied to tennis common physical education in colleges and universities are concluded.A teaching experiment lasting four months was carried out.The students in the experimental group and the control group were tested before the teaching for their homogeneousness by pre-experimental physical test,skill test and questionnaires.The treatment group used PBL pedagogy to learn,and the control group adopted traditional pedagogy.This study found that:(1)Both the traditional teaching method and the PBL teaching method have significantly improved tennis skills.Through 16 weeks of training,students can transform from beginners who have no knowledge of tennis to entry-level players who can practice simple tennis skills.Both teaching methods have very obvious effects on the improvement of tennis skills.(2)There is no significant difference between the PBL teaching method and the traditional teaching method on the students' tennis skills.The practice of forehand and backhand has been running through the whole teaching process,and it takes a long time to learn and practice.It has been possible to hit the ball within the effective range in various ways,whether it is the experimental group using the PBL teaching method or the traditional The pedagogical control group achieved higher scores in tennis technical standards.Therefore,there is no significant difference between the students in the experimental group and the control group in terms of tennis skills.(3)There is no significant difference between the two classes in terms of tennis training between the traditional teaching method and PBL teaching,but the experimental class is higher than the control class in terms of exercise intensity,exercise time,and exercise frequency,indicating that the use of PBL teaching method can reduce the amount of time spent in tennis.The degree of improvement of students' tennis training situation.The main reason is that the PBL teaching method makes use of the group method to increase the learning interest for students who practice tennis,and the pre-class learning also reduces the process of students' repeated error correction in class.(4)The effect of PBL teaching method and traditional teaching method on students' physical quality is not significantly different.There is no physical fitness practice in this experiment.During the teaching process,students will repeatedly experience repeated actions such as picking up the ball and pulling the nets,especially the nets.Students' endurance,reaction speed,etc.Although the physical fitness after the experiment is better than that before the experiment,the difference between before and after is not much different.Both teaching methods can increase the physical fitness to a certain extent.(5)The PBL teaching method stimulates students' tennis learning motivation by giving students learning goals,helps students master the method of learning tennis,and increases a positive tennis learning experience,the teaching effect of the PBL teaching method is slightly higher than that of the traditional teaching method.Finally,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the PBL teaching method is more effective in improving tennis skills and movements in tennis teaching.(2)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the PBL teaching method is more effective in the mastering of tennis knowledge in tennis teaching.(3)Compared with the traditional teaching method,the application of PBL teaching method in tennis teaching can improve students' achievement motivation to a certain extent.
