Xi general secretary in the big speaks of "construction is the foundation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation education power engineering,must give priority to education career position,the development of quality education,to promote education fair,cultivation of the comprehensive development of socialist builders and successors".High school ideological and political class is a combination of moral education and intellectual education dual nature curriculum,is a very special course.This important particularity plays an important role in guiding students' correct outlook on life,world outlook and values.Areas covered by wider political disciplines,the subject of economic life,political life and cultural life,so students can not only learn knowledge of political theory,at the same time also have great help to improve learning ability.Is currently in the shift towards a learning society and innovative country,the process of the "white space" of teaching is in line with the spirit of basic education reform,thus using in the high school thought political lesson teaching of "space" is helpful to accelerate the formation of a learning society;Conducive to the creation of innovative countries;It is helpful to highlight teachers' dominance and students' subjectivity.It is conducive to creating a democratic and equal classroom atmosphere.In the first part of this article probes into the application "white space" of teaching high school thought political lesson the positive significance of improve learning ability,this paper argues that in promoting learning motivation,learning persistence and ability to learn has positive significance.High school political lesson in the second part studies the current application of teaching of "space" of the status quo,found that most of the teachers of space consciousness is weak,difficult to grasp the degree of white space,not to grasp the method of white space and the present teaching evaluation system is not perfect enough.In the third part,the author analyzes the countermeasures of applying "teaching retention" to improve learning ability in senior high school ideological and political class.In this paper,we should first follow the heuristic principle,the principle of seeking truth from facts,the principle of appropriateness and the principle of teachers' dominance and students' subject status.Secondly,the method of "white space" is put forward,which is to use white space in the introduction of new class and to leave blank in the teaching process.In order to help high school students to learn the ideological and political lessons.
