As a traditional reading method,recitation is a treasure of Chinese culture boasting a long history,which is of great significance and value to students' Chinese learning,especially ancient poetry learning.Ye Jiaying,representative of traditional recitation,devoted her whole life to the research and promotion of recitation.Based on her own experience,she put forward the recitation theory,which has imposed a huge impact on today's recitation circle and Chinese educational circle.Introducing Ye Jiaying's Recitation Theory into ancient poetry teaching in senior high schools helps students better understand ancient poetry's rich connotation and deeply feel traditional recitation's fascination.In addition,it stimulates students' interests in learning ancient poetry.This paper mainly employs methods of literature research,investigation research and case analysis to discuss the application of Ye Jiaying's Recitation Theory in senior high schools' ancient poetry teaching.The paper is divided into five parts:The first Part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the relevant background and significance of the research and presents a literature review.The second Part introduces the content of Ye Jiaying's Recitation Theory,and analyzes its formation foundation,content foundation and theoretical foundation.The third Part investigates and analyzes the current situation of ancient poetry recitation teaching in senior high schools,and summarizes its existing issues as follow: students are not interested in recitation;teachers pay more attention to analysis than to recitation;scientific guidance is missing in recitation teaching.The fourth Part expounds the application strategy of Ye Jiaying's Recitation Theory in senior high schools' teaching of ancient poetry.The strategy includes the following aspects:enrich teachers' experience and improve the guidance level;apply various methods to stimulate students' interests;explain recitation rules to guide practice effectively;standardize the recitation process and strengthen the recitation training;innovate recitation methods in combination with the ideas of curriculum standards;enrich the evaluation model with multiple forms.The fifth Part selects the teaching case of Climbing High to explore the feasibility of Ye Jiaying's Recitation Theory applying to ancient poetry teaching in senior high schools.Due to the influence of various factors,it is still difficult to widely apply the recitation method to ancient poetry teaching in senior high schools.Hopefully,this study can offer some references for recitation teaching.
