At present,tourism has gradually become one of the most dynamic industries driving regional economic development.Nonetheless,as the tourism market changes,the tourism industry needs to innovate to cope with the impact of the changes in the market,which also puts forward new requirements for tourism talents.Since colleges and universities bear the important responsibility of cultivating talents in the tourism industry,when the demand for tourism talents in the tourism industry changes,colleges and universities also need to timely adapt the talent training modes of tourism management major,so as to cultivate creative talents to satisfy the innovative development requirements of the tourism industry.Based on this,the study takes undergraduates majoring in tourism management in colleges and universities as the research object and takes the students' psychological capital as the entry point to analyze the formation mechanism of the creativity of undergraduates majoring in tourism management,in order to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the improvement of the creativity of tourism management students in colleges and universities.The specific research work is as follows:Firstly,a model of creativity formation mechanism for undergraduate tourism management students was developed by identifying the key factors that influence creativity generation.The study sorted out the theories related to creativity theory,social cognitive theory and self-determination theory.The study combined with previous relevant research literature,and took psychological capital,self-efficacy,learning engagement and knowledge sharing as key factors influencing undergraduate students' creativity production.Based on a review of the concepts and correlations of the variables of psychological capital,self-efficacy,learning engagement,knowledge sharing and creativity,a theoretical model of the formation mechanism of creativity among undergraduate tourism management students is constructed based on the correlations between the variables.Secondly,through questionnaire survey,data collection,and empirical analysis,the theoretical model of the creativity formation mechanism of undergraduate students majoring in tourism management was validated.The study followed the standard process of questionnaire design and developed scales to measure psychological capital,self-efficacy,learning engagement,knowledge sharing and creativity.The scale was tested through pre-survey and data was collected through a formal survey,and data and models were analyzed and tested using statistical analysis software such as SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 26.0.The study found no direct relationship between psychological capital and creativity,but it can affect creativity through other paths.Psychological capital can affect creativity through self-efficacy and learning engagement;psychological capital can affect creativity through learning engagement;psychological capital can also affect creativity through knowledge sharing;in addition,psychological capital can also affect creativity through knowledge sharing and learning engagement.There is no direct relationship between self-efficacy and creativity,but self-efficacy can affect creativity through learning engagement.Learning engagement can directly affect creativity.Knowledge sharing can directly affect creativity,and knowledge sharing can also affect creativity through learning engagement.Finally,the study combines the findings of relevant theoretical and empirical analyses to propose targeted recommendations for enhancing the creativity of undergraduate tourism management students.This can be done by increasing students' level of psychological capital to develop healthy psychology;increasing students' level of self-efficacy to develop students' self-confidence regarding creativity;stimulating students' learning behavior regarding creativity by enhancing students' level of learning engagement;increasing students' level of knowledge sharing to enhance students' knowledge sharing behavior regarding creativity.
