Music education is an important part of quality education,and the opening of music classes can generally reflect the basic situation of music education in a secondary school objectively.From the perspective of primary and secondary schools nationwide,most of them have offered music classes,except for a few remote areas,and the atmosphere of the music class is full of vigor.Most middle schools in Zhangjiajie City,Hunan Province have also opened music classes in accordance with national requirements,and some schools have also carried out a variety of music activities in addition to music classes.However,most junior middle schools only offer music classes in the first and second grades,while the third grade does not offer this course.M Middle School is a general middle school in Yongding District,Zhangjiajie City,which is representative of the area.Therefore,this paper attempts to study this middle school,pay attention to the current situation of M Middle School's music education,fully understand the curriculum and development of M Junior Middle School,find out the existing problems,and put forward some opinions based on this.Finally put forward some suggestions for improvement of music education in Zhangjiajie M Middle School.Teaching music in middle school requires our teachers to have solid cultural knowledge,high professional skills and rich teaching methods.This paper selects M Junior Middle School in Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City as the research object,and carries on the related research according to its music curriculum.According to the requirements,objectives and main content of music education in junior high schools in the “New Curriculum Standards”,combined with questionnaire surveys and on-site interviews,problems in local music education were discovered.Combining the above issues,we put forward practical and feasible countermeasures.These strategies have certain regional characteristics,which in turn arouse the attention of relevant departments,and play a positive role in promoting the further implementation of the school's music and quality education.
