With the proposal of national "double carbon" goal and the construction of 5G base stations,battery energy storage has developed rapidly in recent years.The battery management system(BMS)is one of the core components in the battery energy storage,thus has a prospective development.In recent years,Company S has established a new product department engaging BMS.The department focused on the BMS market for 5G base station energy storage and energy storage in new energy power generation.However,due to problems in the quality management of the research and design project for BMS,product was returned.This negatively affected the market competitiveness of Company S’s BMS.The purpose of this study is to establish a strategy for improving the quality management of S company’s research and design project in BMS based on relevant principles and methods,so as to elevate its market competitiveness.This thesis concerns the quality management of the Company S’s research and design project in BMS.Firstly,expert interviews were conducted in the vice president,managers and persons in charge in relevant departments of Company S.The existing problems in the quality management of the research and design project of BMS were sorted out.Secondly,a fishbone diagram combined with the brainstorming method was adopted to analyze the sorted problems,thereby 15 reasons,i.e.,influencing factors were obtained.Since some influencing factors are related,the influencing factors were classified and sorted through group discussion.Thirdly,the AHP method was used to calculate and sort the weights of each influencing factor.According to the results,five main reasons for the problem were obtained: insufficient identification of customer needs,lax requirements for project technical review and inadequate implementation,supplier’s insufficient internal control and file management,imperfect analysis methods for project quality risk,and unclear work structure of project quality.Finally,according to the main reasons,relevant principles and methods were used to establish specific promotion strategies.The PDCA cycle principle and quality function deployment tools was used to improve customer demand identification,whereby customer needs can be accurately and fully identified.Technical review requirements for the project needs to be strictly regulated to ensure its implementation from the system and assessment,thus technical review can be effective.The internal control of suppliers and the management of supplier files in Company S were strengthened under the guidance of total quality management.The FMEA method was used to improve the quality risk analysis method of the project.The potential quality risk of the project can be accurately identified,and preventive measures can be effective.Through the improvement of the project organization structure,the work structure of project quality can be clarified.In addition,safeguard measures were proposed to improve the implementation of the strategy,with a view to improving the quality management of Company S’s BMS research and development project.
