The first place language learners come into contact with is phonetics.As the material shell of language,phonetics are a very important part of language learning.When the author carried out Chinese teaching practice in Laos,I found that many beginners in Laos have mastered phonetics.There are certain difficulties,and it is easy to be affected by the migration of the mother tongue,resulting in more language errors.This paper takes this as a research point to analyze the phonetic errors of Lao beginners,analyze the causes,and put forward suggestions for phonetic teaching.This paper can not only provide a certain reference for the Chinese teaching in the country,but also has a certain reference significance for the study of nationalization.This paper firstly introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the research goal and significance,the research content and method,the innovation of the topic and the research structure of this paper.Secondly,it summarizes the research status of phonetic error analysis and the theoretical basis of this research,which lays a theoretical foundation for the research of this paper.It uses questionnaires and interviews combined with test papers to analyze the Chinese phonetic pronunciation of Lao National University students.of student-generated speech errors.The errors in Chinese initials,finals and tones of the students in the elementary classes of the National University of Laos were analyzed again,and the reasons for these errors were investigated mainly from the perspectives of the negative migration effect of the mother tongue,the language environment,learning strategies and individual differences.In addition,according to the phonetic errors produced by the students in the elementary class,teaching suggestions that teachers of the National University of Laos can consider when teaching students phonetics are put forward.Finally,the whole paper is summarized and the shortcomings of this study are pointed out.By analyzing the pronunciation errors of the students in the elementary classes of the National University of Laos,it can be found that many errors are caused by the students’ different pronunciation positions and pronunciation methods.Among the initial consonant errors,it is mainly reflected in the errors of the front and back sounds of the tongue tip.There is no similar pronunciation in Lao,which leads to some difficulties for students to master the pronunciation position and pronunciation method.In response to these problems,teachers teach It is necessary to lead students to learn by introducing the old and the new,introducing similar syllables [s],so that students can master the pronunciation of s,then lead out the pre-tongue,bring out the post-tongue,and then teach it as a whole.Research.In terms of finals,students have more errors in consonants and finals than single finals.The errors of single finals are mainly reflected in the pronunciation of ü.In teaching,the pronunciation of i can be used to bring out the pronunciation of ü.After mastering the pronunciation of ü,Then teach the students the complex finals related to ü,and explain the rules of pronunciation to the students,especially when forming words with some special initials,the errors that are prone to pronunciation need to be taught.Wrong,in the teaching process of this group,it is necessary to remind students that the pronunciation of nasal sounds should be taught from the English words that students are familiar with.In terms of tones,students have more errors in the upper tones and the yang-ping tones.The teaching process needs to make full use of the fifth-degree scale method to compare the pronunciation rules of Lao and Chinese to conduct teaching research.After counting all kinds of errors,the author analyzes the reasons for the errors and finds that there are four main reasons for the errors: First,the negative transfer effect of language,including the influence of pronunciation position and the influence of language rule system The second is the influence of the language environment,where the language environment refers to the influence of teachers and the influence of teaching materials,and the third is the influence of individual differences of learners,mainly because the personality characteristics and learning motivation of learners will have an impact on the production of bias.The fourth is the influence of learners’ learning strategies.Then,corresponding teaching suggestions are drawn.For various types of phonetic errors,some teaching suggestions are put forward from the three aspects of initials,finals and tones,and also from three aspects: teachers,students and teaching materials.It is necessary to pay attention to the application of various teaching methods,ensure the diversity of teaching methods,adopt open-ended questioning methods and diversified practice methods;when students learn pronunciation,they need to clarify the focus of learning,cultivate students’ interest in learning,and be good at using memory strategy and pay attention to the use of online resources;in the use of teaching materials,it is necessary to select appropriate teaching materials and adjust the teaching content reasonably to adapt to the actual situation of students’ pronunciation learning.
