| Education should give priority to moral education.In the whole education system,moral education has a unique spiritual control power,which is the basic guarantee for learners to obtain mental stability and a noble personality and is also an important content of maintaining social stability and cultivating national spirit.Moral education is also a shaper of the soul of education,which is of great value to the cultivation of good morals and the perfection of the daily and professional life of normal university students.Ancient China attached great importance to the significance of moral education.Although it had rich ethical culture and moral education practices,it did not set specialized moral education courses for students to carry out moral education.Instead,it trained people’s thoughts to carry out moral education through the content system of the Four Books,the Five Classics,the Three Principles and the Five Permanent Principles under the imperial examination system.At the beginning of modern times,the national crisis deepened,the country’s desire for talents and the initiation of modern education reform,normal education is also increasingly valued by the people.After the establishment of the Republic of China,reshaping the moral and spiritual conditions of the people became the need of The Times.Therefore,normal education,which arose in the early 20 th century,emphasizes the importance of moral education and takes self-cultivation as one of the main ways of moral education.It runs through the whole teaching system and tries to make up for the lack of moral education in schools through self-cultivation.This study takes modern China’s normal cultivation education as the research object.By collecting and sorting out the historical materials and research documents of the cultivation education for teachers in modern China,combined with the social and historical background of the establishment of the cultivation science at that time,it sorts out and summarizes the changing trend of the core concept of the cultivation education for teachers in modern China with the clue of time.From the perspective of curriculum objectives,implementation,evaluation and methods,it explores the practical path of modern teacher self-cultivation education and shows its change in concept and practice.On the basis of this,the paper tries to reconsider the development process of modern normal cultivation education from both positive and negative aspects and the causes of its decline in modern normal cultivation education in order to provide suitable historical experience and lessons for the construction and reform of normal education.It is found that modern teachers’ self-cultivation education has been developing and changing with the changes of The Times,which may provide some enlightenment for the development of teacher ethics education at present.The study of modern teachers’ self-cultivation education is a necessary part of restoring the original appearance of modern teachers’ education and national moral education,and an important field to analyze the inheritance and change of modern moral education practice.Its historical experience and lessons have important reference value to the curriculum construction and implementation of modern teachers’ moral education. |
