Research On Community Home-based Elderly Care Services In Jinan City

Affected by the conception of fertility and society,Ji’nan is confronted with the tendency of aging.With the growth of old people,the problem of caring for old people is becoming more and more important.The study concentrates on community home nursing for old people,which is a kind of new pattern that is popular with the general public for its good suitability and convenient features.So far,this mode has achieved certain success under the concerted efforts of the government,the community,the institutions and the general public.In this thesis,Ji’nan s community is chosen as the research object,using Maslow’s Demand Level Theory and Welfare Diversity Theory to analyze the status quo of Family Care Mode in S Community.In particular,the research focuses on Basic Life Care Needs,Community Healthcare Demand,Emotion,Culture,Recreation,Self-fulfillment(which is in line with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs,Safety,Social,Respectful,Self-fulfillment).Then,Cross Section Analysis and Comparative Research on Elderly Residents’ Demand,Basic Life Care Needs,Family Welfare,Marriage,Health,Living Style,and Elder’s Demand for Nursing.Based on the survey,the author summarizes the following issues:1)The old people do not take the residential care mode into account;2)The community residential nursing service cannot meet the demand of older people;3)Community residential care is not adequate for older people;3)Community residential care is not sufficient for the diversity and coverage;4.The countermeasures are as follows:Firstly,we should fully exert the function of the Community Platform and develop the powerful potential of our society as the relevant grassroots organisations in society;Thirdly,we will expand our involvement and pay more attention to the improvement of home-care facilities for older persons.Fourthly,we should make efforts in our specialized group and invest heavily.Fifth,we should build an active public-oriented society and promote it in the broader society.In the residential old people’s service mode,every one of them has their own special value function,which is helpful for the establishment,improvement and improvement.Based on the coordination of various governmental agencies,it is possible to implement the Community Residential Care Mode in Ji’nan City and other major cities,with the support of the community and volunteer agencies to offer diverse,individualized and comprehensive quality services.
