The e-commerce industry has developed rapidly in recent years.In 2020,the national e-commerce transaction volume will reach 37.21 trillion yuan,of which online retail sales will reach 11.76 trillion yuan,and the scale of online shopping users will reach 782 million.China continues to maintain the largest and most dynamic position in the world.Online retail market position.Among them,consumers’ personal information plays an important role in helping.E-commerce platforms collect a large amount of user information and accurately analyze user behavior,so as to continuously improve service quality and level.But at the same time,consumers’ personal information security is also facing a huge threat,such as the frequent leakage of consumer information on e-commerce platforms in recent years.How to protect consumers’ personal information to help and realize the long-term and healthy development of the e-commerce industry is a prominent problem faced by e-commerce platforms.The first part is an overview of e-commerce consumer personal information protection.It mainly explains the definition and characteristics of consumer’s personal information in e-commerce,the difference between personal information and personal privacy,and the status quo of legislation of personal information protection in our country.The second part analyzes the predicament that our country faces in the protection of personal information rights and interests of internet consumers.The main problems are: online shopping infringes consumer’s personal information;the boundary of reasonable use of consumer’s personal information is fuzzy;the protection of online consumer’s personal information is lack of typology;the judicial relief is not enough;The supervision and management mechanism of consumer personal information protection is not perfect.The third part analyzes the difficulties faced by China in the protection of online consumers’ personal information rights and interests.It mainly includes: "big data killing" is widespread;Lack of typification of online consumers’ personal information protection;There are difficulties in the civil public interest litigation of consumer personal information protection;The specific rules of consumer personal information protection are not detailed enough.The fourth part is the suggestion to improve the protection of consumer’s personal information in our country.There are: strictly limit the network consumer personal information differentiation protection model;improve our country network consumer personal information judicial relief;improve the network consumer personal information protection comprehensive supervision mechanism.
