| The modernization of national governance system and governance capacity is the overall goal of China’s comprehensive deepening of reform. In the gradual process of realizing this goal, community,as an important basic unit of grassroots social governance structure,is the key factor to promote the harmony and stability of grassroots society and then to the modernization of governance.Nowadays, more and more communities take public space as a starting point to promote community renewal and solve community governance problems. However, subject to subjective and objective factors, the governance of community public space is characterized by repeated problems and poor effects, and many scholars have cast expectations on the residents, the huge community subject.Based on the investigation of the parking lot reconstruction project of S community in Changsha city and the investigation of residents in its X community, this paper systematically studied the key factors affecting residents’ participation in the governance of community public space based on the theory of collaborative governance, using cases, interviews, questionnaires and other methods.Starting from clarifying the basic concepts of community public space governance and residents’ participation, through the analysis of cases and questionnaires,it is concluded that residents’ participation in community public space governance has some practical problems, such as low willingness, low degree and poor effect. These problems are mainly caused by the goal differentiation of the main body of multi-governance,the lack of motivation for residents to participate, the lack of coordination between the main body and the imperfect security system. Finally,in view of the above reasons, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the effect of residents’ participation in community public space governance,in order to make modest contributions to the current academic research and governance practice. |
