As a special team in the police force,female prison officers not only shoulder the supervision and reform work of female criminals,but also shoulder the important responsibilities of family like other professional women.In the past three years,due to the impact of COVID-19,female prison officers have changed their working mode to closed duty mode,which has a greater impact on female prison officers than their male counterparts.Women generally pay more attention to family energy than men,and closed duty brings greater family pressure to female prison guards than male prison guards.In addition,women’s physical weakness,under the same work intensity,female prison guards’ physical condition is also weaker than that of male prison guards.The decrease of job satisfaction and increase of turnover rate directly affect the security and stability of women’s prison.It is very necessary to improve the job satisfaction of female prison officers in female prisons.In this paper,female prison guards in women’s prison in F province are taken as the research object.By combining literature research,questionnaire survey,individual interview and other methods,the current situation of job satisfaction of female prison guards in F Province during the epidemic prevention and control period is studied and analyzed,and it is planned to refer to the job satisfaction scale of police in medical prison of prison in A Province.4 index items in each of 9 dimensions,including value realization,salary,working environment,reward and punishment incentive,workload and interpersonal relationship,were evaluated.Then,600 female prison guards in the women’s prison of F Province were selected for questionnaire survey.Compared with the results of the same test objects and the same questionnaire survey before the epidemic,SPSS26.0 software was established for analysis.According to the analysis results,a one-to-one interview was conducted on female prison guards to analyze and demonstrate the reasons for the decreased satisfaction.The results showed that work pressure,family conflict and working environment were the main factors affecting the job satisfaction of female prison guards.Combined with the current requirements of the prison,several problems affecting the job satisfaction of female prison officers were analyzed and countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to improve the working environment,protect the basic rights and interests of female prison officers,improve the assessment mechanism,etc.,so as to provide reference for the prison system.
