| Since college enrollment expansion,the employment of college students has been concerned by society.Under the background of fierce employment competition,how to help college students make scientific employment decisions and achieve high-quality employment has always been the research contents of higher education.Most of the existing researches focus on the theory of person-job fit,which guides students to make employment decisions from the perspective of college students’ personality traits and professional characteristics.But little attention is paid to the fit between college students and work organizations in values,demand,supply and other aspects.In order to make up for this defect,this study will provide reference for students on how to make reasonable employment decisions,which based on the study of college students’ perception of the degree of fit between individuals and organizations.First,this study constructed the concept model of college students’ employment decision-making and person-organization fit on the basis of systematically sorting of relevant literature and combination of experts’ opinions,then compiled the questionnaire "College Students’ Employment Decision-making and Person-Organization fit Perception" as the research tool.In the study,420 fresh graduates from L University were selected as the survey subjects.The results of the survey showed: 1.college students with different genders,different grades,and different fathers’ work units showed significant differences in employment decision-making;2.college students did not pay attention to the degree of compatibility between person and organization in terms of values,needs,abilities,development goals,etc.when making employment decisions;3.Person-Organization fit had a significant impact on all dimensions of employment decision-making,and the overall performance was: the higher the person-organization fit perception score,specific details are as follows:(1)Abilities-demands fit perception,supplementary fit perception and needs-supply fit perception have significant positive influence on autonomous decision making;(2)Abilities-demands fit perception and supplementary fit perception have significant positive effects on goal decision making;(3)Supplementary fit perception and needs-supply fit perception have significant positive influence on value decision making;(4)There is a significant correlation between the perception of person-organization fit and cognitive decision making.In addition,through data analysis,some common problems in employment decision-making of college students were found:(1)The lack of self-confidence in cognitive decision-making dimensions;The planned salary in target decision-making is generally lower than the actual average;Excessive pursuit of utilitarian value and the realization of self-worth;Low employment decision-making autonomy because of the lack of decision-making standards.(2)In employment decision-making,there is a different degree of neglect of person-organization fit in various dimensions,resulting in a low overall level of employment decision-making.According to the problems manifested in the employment decision-making of college students,combined with the influence relationship between person-organization fit perception on employment decision-making,the strategies of improving different dimensions of employment decision-making level from the two levels of college students and colleges was proposed.The contribution of this study is to find out the influence of person-organization fit on college students’ employment decision-making,pay attention to the process of college students’ employment decision-making,and put forward targeted measures for the optimization of college students’ employment decision-making. |
