Core quality of Chinese subject refers to the comprehensive embodiment of cultural self-confidence,language use,thinking ability and aesthetic creation developed by students in Chinese practice.Although it is a new concept proposed in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),but it is not a castle in the air,and has its profound historical origin.Although the past syllabus or curriculum standards did not explicitly construct core quality of Chinese subject from the four aspects of language,aesthetics,thinking and culture,the specific elements of these four aspects,such as thinking methods,thinking quality,aesthetic appreciation and evaluation,have been the Chinese quality that the Chinese curriculum has been focusing on since the independent establishment of the subject for more than 100 years.However,the current academic community lacks the historical combing and reflection on the core quality of the Chinese subject,which is not conducive to the understanding and implementation of the core quality of Chinese subject.This research adopts the literature research method,historical research method and comparative research method,taking the century-old junior high school Chinese curriculum standard(syllabus)as the research object,and combs the century-old evolution law of the elements of core quality of Chinese subject in the junior high school Chinese curriculum standard(syllabus),in order to deepen the understanding of the junior high school Chinese core quality and better implement the requirements of the new curriculum standard.Firstly,seek the theoretical basis for the core quality of Chinese language,and clarify the connotation of Chinese core quality from four dimensions:language literacy,thinking literacy,aesthetic literacy,and cultural literacy.Secondly,based on the background of the times,clarify the changes in language literacy,thinking literacy,aesthetic literacy,and cultural literacy in the curriculum standards(teaching syllabus)of the century old junior high school Chinese language curriculum.It is found that the changing characteristics of Chinese core quality: language literacy runs through the whole process and develops steadily;Thinking quality changes from dark to bright,from point to face;Aesthetic quality has gone through twists and turns all the way,and has been difficult to explore;Cultural literacy has always been concerned and kept pace with the times.Finally,based on the existing combing results,the research puts forward the future outlook: combining the background of the times,examine the Chinese core quality from a developing and dynamic perspective;Scientific top-level design,refining the dimensions of Chinese core quality;Integrating media literacy is the inevitable trend of Chinese core quality.In short,sorting out and analyzing the evolution of various elements of " core quality of Chinese subject " in the junior high school Chinese curriculum standards(syllabuses)over the past century,can better understand the Chinese curriculum,understand the Chinese quality that students should have in the new era,and provide a historical reference for the implementation of core quality of Chinese subject in today’s Chinese education.
