Research On The First-Class Discipline Construction Of Universities In The Background Of "Double First-Class"

"Speeding up the construction of world-class universities and first-class disciplines" is an important measure to pursue the connotation development of China higher education,cultivate innovative talents,build world-class universities,build a powerful country of higher education,and also a major project promoted by the government and schools.The proposal of "double first-class" has historical continuity,and its construction focuses on building world-class disciplines,and thus promotes the differentiated development of universities and their discipline construction.The purpose of "double first-class" is to break the problems of curing the university status and the lack of motivation brought about by the construction of "211 Project" and"985 Project'',which provides new opportunities and possibilities for the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines in colleges and universities.Discipline is the university cell,is the university's technical core field,has the direct influence to the "double first-class" construction,the discipline level determines the"double first-class" construction degree.H University is a university with distinct industry characteristics,as the first batch of "double first-class" discipline construction industry characteristics of colleges and universities,which is of great significance for the future development of H University,how to grasp the opportunities of "double first-class" construction,and better promote first-class discipline construction,so as to build a first-class university and even world-class university.This study takes H University first-class discipline construction as the research object,Synthetically uses the literature research method,the case analysis method and the SWOT analysis method and so on research method,on the one hand carries on the theory explanation to "double first-class" construction,the university discipline construction and the first-class subject,Based on the theory of subject construction,the theory of unbalanced development and the theory of growth pole,it lays a solid theoretical foundation for the article.On the other hand,based on the practice of H University,this paper studies the present situation of the specific contents of the subject construction of the school,including the analysis of the present situation of the subject structure,the subject team,the scientific research achievements,the four construction of the platform base and the latest ESI rankings,on the basis of the analysis of the present situation,This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the subject construction of H University,and analyzes the opportunities and challenges that affect the external environment of H University.According to the analysis results of internal conditions and external environment,the following suggestions are put forward for the future discipline development of H University:first,adhere to the disciplinary layout,with dominant disciplines as the main multidisciplinary coordinated development;second,to gather top talents to optimize the team structure;third,to enhance the scientific research level and strengthen the platform construction;fourth,to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation to help the development of mechanics.
