| Drama in Education was introduced to China at the end of the last century as a pedagogical tool and medium for education,with theatre as a means to educate the whole person.It promotes the holistic development of students through the process of contextualisation,characterisation,embodied experience and collaborative creation.The use of Drama in Education in music classes is in line with the aesthetic,process and experiential nature of music classes,as well as the contemporary requirements of the music curriculum reform,and can seek innovative ways for the creative development of music classes.As Drama in Education is at a preliminary stage of development in China,research on the integration of Drama in Education in music teaching is more in the realm of revelation or theoretical narration,and there is a lack of practical research.Therefore,the author took Nanning Peihong Minzu Middle School as the experimental object and explored the use of Drama in Education in the music classroom through literature research,questionnaire,interview and practical methods.Firstly,on the basis of reviewing and collating the literature,the author summarises,summarises and identifies Drama in Education and its related concepts,and then analyses the feasibility of Drama in Education in the music classroom from both theoretical and practical aspects,concluding that its theoretical feasibility is:Drama in Education is compatible with the physiological and psychological needs of junior high school students.The theoretical feasibility of Drama in Education is that it is compatible with the physiology and psychology of junior high school students,with the characteristics of music education,and with the three-dimensional objectives and core literacy of music.Again,on the basis of theoretical research,a teaching design concept for the use of Drama in Education in the music classroom was constructed.At the same time,the teaching practice guided by the theory was carried out in the context of the students’ own situation,and the specific forms of Drama in Education in the music classroom were demonstrated through case studies.It is proved that Drama in Education is effective in stimulating students’ interest in learning music,enhancing their motivation to learn music and helping them to have emotional experiences. |
