The implementation of the 2022 edition of the "National Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in Chinese" has brought new requirements for junior high school Chinese language teaching and provided new opportunities for the reform and innovation of junior high school Chinese reading teaching.Professor Zhu Yongxin’s new educational experiment theory and practical results are highly consistent with the new requirements for junior high school Chinese reading teaching proposed by the new curriculum standards.This paper attempts to conduct a useful exploration of junior high school Chinese reading teaching under the guidance of the new curriculum standards,using the rich theoretical and practical resources of the new education experiment with over twenty years of educational teaching reform and innovation.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Chapter one uses a literature research method to review the research status of the new education experiment,the new education experiment reading view,and the new education experiment and junior high school Chinese reading teaching.In view of the background of the implementation of the new curriculum standards,Laiwu New Education Experimental Zone was chosen as the research scope,and research was conducted through questionnaire surveys,interviews,and educational experimental methods.Chapter two analyzes the origin and development of Professor Zhu Yongxin’s new education,which is a new connection and development in the history of "new education." Zhu Yongxin’s new education experiment reading view is summarized,which mainly includes three aspects: the reading subject,the reading goal,and the implementation path.The experience of reading teaching in Laiwu New Education Experimental Zone lies in insisting on education goals that are compatible with the core literacy of Chinese and practicing the ten major actions that are adapted to the requirements of the learning task group.Chapter three analyzes the current situation of junior high school Chinese reading teaching in Laiwu New Education Experimental Zone.The problems are mainly focused on three aspects: the emphasis on "hard" academic atmosphere construction rather than "soft" academic atmosphere construction in creating a bookish environment,the quality control of listening to external sounds by students as the reading subject,and the four aspects of content of practicing one event per month,the form of in-class reading expression,and post-class notes,and the need to strengthen the initiative of teachers’ classroom construction.Chapter four proposes the improvement strategies for junior high school Chinese reading teaching based on the new education experiment,based on the questionnaire and interview findings from the previous chapters.First,improve the construction of the reading environment by strengthening the construction of "hard" book fragrance and creating "soft" book fragrance,and making it conducive to a good reading environment.Second,strengthen the reading input and output of students as the reading subject by fully accumulating reading materials,cultivating reading habits,and strengthening reading expression.Third,construct an ideal classroom for a subject-based approach.The starting point is reading together,the process is sharing and thinking together,and the purpose is living together.Chapter five’s teaching design focuses on the whole book reading of "Journey to the West." After implementing the whole book reading teaching,there is a teaching reflection.Chapter six is the conclusion.
