The reform of teaching methods is the top priority of vocational education teaching reform.In recent years,with the continuous promotion of vocational education teaching reform,a variety of new teaching methods represented by task driven teaching method appear more and more in vocational education classroom teaching,replacing the traditional teaching method.The course Photoshop foundation and application is a core course of secondary vocational graphic design specialty and the basis of many professional courses of secondary vocational graphic design specialty.It is an irreplaceable course for students of secondary vocational graphic design specialty.This study formulates the task driven teaching method from five parts: teaching objectives,learning situation analysis,teaching content and task design,teaching process design and teaching evaluation,and applies it to the teaching design of Photoshop foundation and application.Firstly,carry out learning situation analysis to analyze the age characteristics,mastered knowledge,learning ability and learning style of graphic design students in secondary vocational schools.Study the talent training requirements and general curriculum objectives of graphic design specialty in secondary vocational schools,and determine the teaching objectives in combination with the learning situation and curriculum standards.The teaching objectives are presented in the form of three-dimensional objectives of knowledge and skill objectives,process and method objectives,emotional attitude and values objectives;Under the guidance of curriculum objectives and based on the principles of teaching,organize teaching contents and design teaching tasks.The teaching process is composed of five links: creating learning situation,arranging tasks,analyzing tasks,completing tasks and evaluating tasks.Based on the characteristics of task-based teaching method and the teaching principle of student-centered,the design of teaching evaluation is carried out.The teaching evaluation adopts two evaluation modes:process evaluation and summative evaluation.After completing the teaching design,the author conducted a three-month teaching practice according to the teaching design.According to the different types of task design,the author selected a course case from the closed task and the open task as the application case.After completing the teaching,the author conducted a teaching evaluation to evaluate the application effect of the task driven teaching method in the course of Photoshop foundation and application in secondary vocational schools.In research and practice,it is found that task driven teaching method can significantly improve the teaching effect of Photoshop foundation and application.Compared with traditional teaching methods,using task driven teaching method can enhance students’ interest in learning,promote students’ more active learning,and enable most students to master practical skills faster and better.However,existing problems are also found in the process of practice,It needs to be further optimized in multiple teaching links.According to the problems found,the author gives several optimization suggestions.This study analyzes the ability objectives of secondary vocational schools for the cultivation of graphic design professionals,and studies the connotation and characteristics of task-based teaching method.On the basis of the two studies,the teaching content of Photoshop foundation and application is redeveloped and reorganized,and the tasks that can carry knowledge and ability objectives are designed.
