| The proportion of obese people is increasing year by year around the world,and it has become an important public health problem affecting human health.As an important component of self-esteem and mental health,physical self-esteem is an important factor related to individual mental health and personality development.Body self-esteem is an individual’s sense of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with their body.Factors such as physical condition,physical attraction and athletic ability will have an impact on the level of body self-esteem.Obesity will cause changes in body shape and pose a threat to physical health,resulting in adverse effects such as dissatisfaction with their own body shape and decreased athletic ability,which will affect self-recognition and physical self-esteem,and easily form low self-esteem,negative and closed mental health problems.When the intake of fat is more serious than the consumption,obesity will be caused.Increasing the participation in physical exercise will change the body shape of obese people through increasing the consumption of fat,thus affecting the body self-esteem.Participation in physical exercise will affect the fitness level of individual muscle fitness,cardiopulmonary fitness and other healthy physical fitness levels,which in turn is related to body shape,exercise ability and other dimensions.In this study,167 students from the weight loss class of Harbin Engineering University in the autumn semester of 2022 were investigated.The Physical Activity Rating Scale compiled by Liang Deqing et al.,and the Body Self-esteem Scale(PSPP)revised by Xu Xia et al.,were used as measuring tools,and the related items of health and physical fitness were tested.To understand the status quo of physical exercise,healthy physical fitness and body self-esteem of obese college students,to clarify the relationship among physical exercise,healthy physical fitness and body self-esteem,and to further explore the mechanism of healthy physical fitness in the influence of physical exercise on body self-esteem.The results show that:1.There is a correlation between physical exercise,healthy physical fitness and body self-esteem of obese college students,and healthy physical fitness plays a partial mediating effect on the influence of physical exercise on body self-esteem;Physical exercise and physical fitness can positively predict body self-esteem.2.There are significant differences between the fitness level and body self-esteem of obese college students under different exercise levels,as shown in:with the increase of exercise levels,the fitness level and body self-esteem show an increasing trend.3.The amount of physical exercise of obese college students is less,the level of physical fitness is poor,the body self-esteem is at the medium level,and there is no significant difference between male and female body self-esteem. |
