Research On High School Mathematics Teaching Practice Based On 5E Teaching Mode

With the progress and development of the times,China’s basic education reform is in full swing,and the teaching methods of teachers and the learning methods of students have also undergone corresponding changes.Relevant research shows that inquiry teaching can cultivate students’ ability to solve problems,make students interested in inquiry activities,and have a positive impact on learning mathematics.The 5E teaching mode is essentially an inquiry teaching mode based on constructivism theory and concept transformation theory.It is used in the teaching of high school mathematics concept class,which helps students improve their ability and accomplishment.This paper mainly focuses on the following questions:(1)What are the teaching case design and principles of cultivating students’ inquiry ability based on 5E teaching mode?(2)Does the 5E teaching model improve high school students’ interest in mathematics learning?(3)Does the 5E teaching model helpful to high school students’ mathematical inquiry ability?First of all,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on the students of the internship school,and learned that the students’ awareness of mathematical inquiry is not very strong.Most students are not good at asking mathematical problems,and have no good habits of induction and summary.Therefore,in view of the existing problems,combined with the connotation and characteristics of the 5E teaching mode,the implementation strategy of the 5E teaching mode and the principles of teaching design are proposed,and the corresponding teaching cases are designed.Secondly,two classes with similar levels are selected as the experimental class and the control class respectively.The experimental class adopts the 5E teaching mode,while the control class uses the ordinary teaching mode,and selects the appropriate teaching content to carry out the teaching practice.Finally,the scientific evaluation is carried out from the two aspects of mathematics learning interest and mathematics inquiry ability.The evaluation of mathematics learning interest is in the form of questionnaire,and the mathematics inquiry ability is supported by the "five-dimensional second-order" structural model constructed by Bingbing Tang,and the "mathematics inquiry ability test volume" is compiled to evaluate students.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The teaching design based on 5E teaching mode should follow three teaching principles: flexible selection of teaching content,concept class as the principle;to develop literacy as the goal,student-centered principle;stimulate students’ awareness of participation,problem situation principle.(2)In terms of interest in mathematics learning: under the significance level of 0.05,the independent sample t test was used after the experiment,and the significance value was 0.042 less than 0.05,indicating that there was a significant difference in the interest in mathematics learning between the experimental class and the control class.Therefore,it can be said that the teaching based on 5E teaching mode can improve students’ interest in mathematics learning.(3)Mathematical inquiry ability: On the whole,5E teaching mode has a positive effect on improving students’ mathematical inquiry ability.From the specific dimensions of the divided mathematical inquiry ability,the 5E teaching mode has an improving effect on the dimensions of problem raising,mathematical proof and mathematical experiment,and has no significant effect on the dimensions of mathematical conjecture and mathematical expansion and promotion.
