As the most popular literary genre among children,fairy tales have unique aesthetic functions,which are in line with children’s aesthetic psychological characteristics such as active beauty of imagination,spiritual beauty of consciousness,strong beauty of emotion and intuitive beauty of perception.It plays an important role in cultivating students’ aesthetic feeling ability,aesthetic appreciation ability,aesthetic imagination ability and aesthetic creation ability.Based on the existing research and from the perspective of the ontological function of fairy tales,namely the aesthetic function,this paper analyzes the feasibility of the cultivation of students’ aesthetic ability in fairy tales teaching in primary school,and investigates the current situation of the cultivation of students’ aesthetic ability in fairy tales teaching in the second learning section through the method of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and case analysis,and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.This study is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the research background,research significance,research overview at home and abroad and the definition of core concepts.The second chapter is the theoretical overview of this paper,which introduces in detail the theoretical basis of this research and the feasibility of cultivating students’ aesthetic ability in fairy tale teaching(including students’ aesthetic psychological characteristics,aesthetic factors and aesthetic characteristics of fairy tales).The third chapter is a survey of the cultivation of students’ aesthetic ability in the fairy tale teaching of the second section of primary school Chinese.It collates and analyzes the data collected from the double questionnaire of teachers and students,the interview data of teachers and eight teaching cases.The fourth part summarizes and reflects on the cultivation status,and finds that there are some problems in the fairy tale teaching classroom,such as teachers neglecting reading aloud teaching,students’ aesthetic feelings being shallow,teachers lacking analysis and guidance,students lacking aesthetic appreciation opportunities,teachers explaining too much content,limiting the scope of students’ aesthetic imagination,teachers’ single teaching method,and difficult to stimulate students’ aesthetic creation.Based on the analysis of the above problems,it is found that it is caused by the lack of teaching concept of cultivating students’ aesthetic perception ability,the weak quality of teachers’ aesthetic appreciation of fairy tales,the teachers’ contempt for the subject position of students’ aesthetic imagination and the teachers’ lack of teaching ability of aesthetic creation of fairy tales.The fifth chapter is the strategy part of this paper.Based on the previous research and analysis,the author puts forward the corresponding teaching suggestions from the perspective of classroom combined with teaching cases.
