| Historical atlases are an important component of historical textbooks and auxiliary teaching resources used in conjunction with textbooks.With the comprehensive implementation of new courses and textbooks,the unified compilation of high school history atlases has emerged.The compilation of the high school history atlas has implemented the requirements of the curriculum standards and made great innovations in the format and content.This article attempts to analyze and summarize the commonalities and characteristics of the compilation of historical atlases in different versions of current unified high school history textbooks,propose corresponding teaching strategies,promote frontline history teachers to better understand the status and value of historical atlases,improve the utilization rate of historical atlas resources,and provide reference for middle school history teaching.The paper consists of three parts: introduction,main text,and conclusion.The introduction section introduces the reasons for the topic selection,summarizes the current research status of the academic community on "historical atlases",determines the research objects and methods,and proposes the significance and innovation points of this study.The main text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter provides an overview of the development of China’s high school historical map book,introduces the general situation of various versions of the unified high school historical map book currently in use,and provides a detailed analysis of the application value of the unified high school historical map book.The second chapter mainly introduces the compilation of the unified high school historical map book,explores the principles of compiling the historical map book from the theories of education,history,and other disciplines,introduces the layout style and main content of the unified high school historical map book,and conducts text analysis on six versions of the unified high school historical map book,summarizing the commonalities and characteristics of compiling different versions of the unified high school historical map book.The third chapter proposes corresponding application strategies for the specific four parts of the unified compilation of high school historical map books.Based on the proposed application strategies,a teaching case for integrating historical map book resources is designedThe conclusion is a summary of this article,as well as the author’s writing experience and reflection.The unified compilation of high school history atlases with novel styles and rich content can promote the improvement of teachers’ teaching methods and students’ learning strategies,ultimately aiming to cultivate students’ core historical literacy.The application value of historical atlases is closely related to the quality of their compilation.This article also discusses this in part and hopes to conduct more in-depth research in the future. |
