Graph is an important medium for preschool children to learn and develop their core experience in the field of Art.It plays an important role in the stage of feeling beauty.The graphs used in preschool children’s music activities are often used as teaching aids to interpret music materials by means of images,figures or symbols.Music aptitude is a concept proposed by music psychology and educator Edwin Gordon.It represents the extent to which an individual can attain musical potential.The purpose of this study is to innovate the garphs used in singing activities and to explore the relationship between graph containing pitch elements and the development of music aptitude of young children.This study hopes to promote the development of preschool music education.The research methods used are educational experiment supplemented by observation.From S city D kindergarten,120 children are randomly selected from 4top classes,including 60 male children and 60 female children.The children’s song "Song of Nature" is selected,and add pitch elements to the graph and put it into the singing activity.The core experience observation table of teaching activity in the field of music is used to record the concrete expression behavior of the subjects.This study uses pitch test of Gordon’s Primary Measures of Music Audiation as a research tool,Pre-test and Post-test the subjects respectively before and after the educational experiment.The data are processed by descriptive statistics,normality test and non-parametric rank sum test combining the concrete behavior in the teaching record to analyze.The results show that: 1.After the educational experiment,graph containing pitch elements have a positive effect on the development of music aptitude of young children;2.There are gender differences in the influence of graph containing pitch elements on the development of music aptitude of young children.Based on the analysis and reflection of the research results,the following educational suggestions are put forward to kindergarten and teachers: 1.Emphasize the development of children’s musical ability;2.Strengthen the use of graph containing pitch elements in singing activities;3.To enhance teachers’ musical and educational attainment.
