In recent years,by purchasing social work professional services from social work institutions, the government has guided social work professionals to sink into the community, assisted the community to carry out professional community volunteer services, and constantly improved the ability and level of Community Governance."Social workers+community volunteers" has become a new model for the development of Community Governance.Community volunteer services are in the construction of political civilization and social governance at the grass-roots level,And it has played a positive role in improving the quality of life of residents, and has become an important component of the construction of spiritual civilization in the new era.Through participating in community practice,it has been found that in new urban communities, the retired elderly group has become the main force in participating in community volunteer services. However, due to factors such as age and cultural level, there is a common problem of insufficient professional knowledge and skills among community elderly volunteers, which also leads to a lack of professionalism in community volunteer service activities, and the ability and level of community volunteer service need to be improved. As the backbone of community volunteer services, community elderly volunteer backbone plays a crucial role.Social workers enhance the professional service capabilities of elderly volunteer backbone, enabling them to lead other volunteers to carry out specialized community volunteer services, thereby improving the level of volunteer services in the entire community. At the same time, through the intervention of practical research,we will summarize and reflect, enrich the experience of Community Governance, and build a service-oriented community of co governance,co construction and sharing. This article takes H community in Zunyi City,Guizhou Province as an example, and uses participatory observation, interviews, and other methods to conduct an in-depth investigation on the professional service capabilities of the backbone of elderly volunteers in H community. It is found that the backbone of elderly volunteers lacks key thinking abilities, team building abilities, and information technology application abilities in service implementation.Based on the above three ability issues, this article is guided by empowerment theory and social learning theory, combined with the volunteer service practice in H community, and using professional methods and techniques of group work, with the goal of improving the professional abilities of elderly volunteer backbone to carry out group work intervention. In the practical process,a total of six group activities were designed to enhance the skills and professional abilities of elderly volunteer backbone from the perspectives of changing volunteer service thinking, building volunteer teams, and bridging the "digital divide".The research results indicate that the intervention of group work under the guidance of empowerment theory and social learning theory has a certain effect on improving the professional abilities of the backbone of community elderly volunteers, and the group activity goals have been basically achieved.Social workers establish volunteer backbone growth groups, create a learning atmosphere, strengthen team collaboration, and enable community volunteer backbone members to receive professional theoretical guidance and skill learning. They also establish a mutual support network between peer groups, which helps to promote the overall improvement of community volunteer service capabilities.I hope this article can provide valuable reference for research on volunteer participation in community volunteer services.
