The "Standard for Chinese Curriculum in General High Schools(2017 Edition and Revised in 2020)" presents the content of Chinese courses in ordinary high schools in18 learning task groups,and the learning task group of "Whole Book Reading and Discussion" ranks first.Taking the "Whole Book Reading and Discussion" learning task group of high school Chinese as the research object,taking the "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised in 2020)" as the theoretical basis,combined with the teaching cases of the whole book of front-line teachers,this paper studies the teaching method of the "Whole Book Reading and Discussion" learning task group,in order to provide new ideas for the whole book reading teaching.Through literature combing,we believe that "whole book reading and discussion" is a learning method,teachers and students take the whole book as the center,reading as the premise,and discussion as the focus.Through seminars,inter-subject communication is carried out,problems are discovered,problems are analyzed,and finally problems are solved,so as to achieve the goal of maintaining interest in reading,developing reading habits,and improving language literacy.The teaching process of the "Whole Book Reading and Discussion" learning task group has the characteristics of focusing on the whole,based on practice and pointing to the development of students.The paper uses the case analysis method to describe,analyze and explain the teaching cases of "Border City" and "Home".From the three aspects of deep reading,teacher-student dialogue and multiple evaluation,the teaching enlightenment of "whole book reading and discussion" is constructed.First,create scenarios and make plans to promote students’ reading;The second is to take teacher-student dialogue as the key,combine resources inside and outside the classroom,organize discussions and exchanges,and learn content in depth;The third is to be guided by multiple evaluations,pay attention to the evaluation subject,evaluation content and evaluation process,and achieve all-round development.On the basis of literature research and case analysis,combined with teaching enlightenment,this paper takes the modern and contemporary novel "Ordinary World" as an example to carry out the teaching design and reflection of "whole book reading and discussion",in order to improve the teaching practice experience of "whole book reading and discussion" in practice.
