With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the education sector pays more and more attention to cultivating students’ Chinese reading ability,and the "Standard for Chinese Curriculum for General High Schools(2017 Edition)" lists "whole book reading and discussion" at the top of the learning task group,hoping that students can broaden their horizons,cultivate temperament,improve aesthetic awareness and develop thinking ability by reading the whole book.Reading the entire modern novel helps students master the appreciation of characters,grasp the artistic characteristics of novels,and gradually form the ability to interpret the personality of literary works.However,at present,the whole book reading teaching of modern novels in high schools has problems such as one-sided teaching objectives,single teaching methods,and insufficient teaching resources,which makes the whole book reading teaching effect of modern novels poor,so how to make the whole book reading of modern novels effectively carried out in high school Chinese teaching is worth exploring.The author uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to conduct research on the whole book reading teaching of modern Chinese novels in high schools,analyzes the teaching status of "reading whole books of modern novels",puts forward his own thinking in view of the problems that have arisen,seeks feasible teaching strategies,introduces the whole book reading of modern novels into the high school Chinese teaching classroom,adapts to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and provides a new reference idea for the current front-line teaching.This article is mainly divided into the following parts:The first part is an introduction,which summarizes the research status of whole book reading,whole book reading teaching,and modern novel whole book reading teaching,understands the research situation of modern novel whole book reading teaching in recent years,provides reference for the research of this paper,and introduces the research significance and research methods of this paper.The second part is an overview of the theory of reading the whole book of modern novels in high school,including the meaning and characteristics of whole book reading,whole book reading teaching,modern novel whole book reading teaching,and selected modern novels in the edited textbook,on this basis,the value and significance of reading the whole book of "Home" is analyzed.The third part conducts a questionnaire survey and interviews with teachers on the current situation of reading teaching of modern novels in high schools,analyzes the current situation of reading teaching of modern novels,and finds problems based on reality.The fourth part takes "Home" as an example,in view of the problems existing in the survey,it puts forward corresponding solution strategies from the aspects of formulating the teaching objectives of reading the whole book of modern novels,optimizing the reading methods of the whole book,and enriching reading activities,and makes practical attempts on the basis of theoretical research to provide teaching reference for other front-line teachers. |
